Owners were always around and attended every issue in a very kind matter. Ate twice at the restaurant - highly recommended! The Breakfast 🍳 was good too. The room is okay and clean. The bathroom lacks some water 🚿 pressure - but for that price… There was some little noise after dark 🐾🐾🐾 above the ceiling…. Stayed 3 nights and did basically nothing than walking and cycling (free bicycle 🚲 in good conditions) the rice 🌾 paddies and sitting on the wonderful balcony. For me it was a nice relax 😎 from the rather busy and polluted places I went to in Vietnam 🇻🇳. So I definitely recommend. And by the way: It was rather cold 🥶 in the room because of the low temperature at the moment I was there. But they immediately gave me another comforter so I was warm and good 😊. Especially liked the way they attend the customer in a very natural way and not only looking after a perfect rating like I felt in other places in Vietnam 🇻🇳.

Lim's House is simply wonderful. Common spaces and rooms are stunning, built in a traditional way, with amazing cleaniness and materials used. Free bycicles are the best found so far, high quality. Coffee, teas and delicious bananas for free every day and time. Other beverages are available in the fridge for a great additional price.
What about Lim? She is a super lovely host l, never being pushy, and after all she is an amazing chef! Every night upon request she cooks super fresh, traditional and delicious meals, using every day only fresh ingredients from local farmers and markets, which are honestly superb. We had the most delicious meals of our trip in Vietnam with no doubts.
You will have also complimentary laundry at Lim's House. Lim will also help you with great efficiency and reliability in arranging scooters rental and transport for your next destination.
If you look at the website you will find great ideas and tips to explore the province around Mai Châu, where it is recommended to use a scooter to enjoy at the best. However, I strongly suggest to talk to Lim which will give you additional hints and ideas, and you will be able to plan your days and visits at the greatest according to your wishes!
Everything is so nice and traditional that you would never leave Lim's House! And after few days you will still miss it!

The hosts are really friendly people, openly provide tips for activities in the area and also offer guide service for hikes etc. And they're amazing cooks too! We tried some Laos style cold beef, pork meat ball stew and great pho for breakfast.
The house is a bit set back from the busier streets with touristy souvenirs.

Everything was just perfect! Food was fresh and delicious. Even other travellers from other homestays came to eat dinner over there. Rooms were nice, clean and comfortable. There was everything you need. We felt like we were part of the family. If we needed any help with scooter rental, with transport or advise about different tourist attractions, then we got maximum help and support plus very good prices. We had a lovely, relaxing time at Tan's place. It was great to meet Tan's family and other travelers, and share meals together. The food Tan prepared was absolutely delicious!! The homestay is in a lovely location in the middle of Ban Lac village, sorprended by rice field and mountains. The rooms are clean and comfortable, mine had a nice terrace where you could sit and relax.
The whole family were lovely hosts, always there to help and give advice on the best things to do in the area or just what dish to try at the local restaurants.i used the free bicycles provided to cycle round the area.

Feels like home. The family of the owner who has a home stay beside are so accommodating and lovely. We are always having our dinner with the family from the next house. Blown away with this incredible homestay. The hosts pick you up from the shuttle bus drop off and get you immediately set up. The room was spacious and very comfortable. Wifi was excellent. The bed was great and both the AC and water heater worked a treat. The morning breakfast provided is very good with a few options. They’re also nearby other home stays with good food if you’re feeling more variety. The dinner was excellent and had a lot of options. It’s a beautiful area to explore and the location is unbeatable.
Wonderful homestay in Mai Chau. The host family were super lovely. Our room was very clean, modern, lovely design. View of the rice paddies was fantastic! Excellent food for dinner and breakfast. While we were there, they were doing a bit of work on the site, renovating some bungalows and we are so keen to come back and stay again when they're all finished! We were discussing when we could come back before we'd even left!

We really enjoyed our stay at this homestay. The host family was so lovely and they really integrated us into their daily lives. It felt really warm in the home and they went above and beyond to make us feel at home and welcome. We also got to see and try alot of Vietnamese culture. This stay was especially fun as they show you around the town and invite you to whatever events they have on in their own calendar. They have all facilities you will need and plentiful food.

A true homestay experience. The host family prepares delicious dinner (optional) and helped us with everything from renting bycicles, our bus pick up, and organised everything we needed. We enjoyed food an drinks with the host and loved the view on the rice fields from the terrace.
