Located in the Medina of Tunis, 12 km from Tunis-Carthage international airport, Dar Ben Gacem is a traditional-style accommodation which offers free Wi-Fi access and a terrace overlooking the city. There are so many cute little nooks. When I wasn’t out exploring, it was great to relax with a book. The rooftop is lovely, and the location is convenient. Also, the price can’t be beat. Great value!

The location is superb; it is right next to the old city and a short walk to Al Zaytuna. The apartment itself is beautiful. It is very modernly decorated, spacious and perfect for our group of six people where we rented out the entire apartment, sharing bedrooms as pairs. It has the same facilities as if you were living at home. It has plenty of space to relax in, a large living room, dining area, reception area, bathrooms and kitchen, and bedrooms. The high ceilings and balcony help relieve some of Tunisia's heat, too. It is also very accessible - it is right next to a road, whereas other accommodation options are not near roads. The apartment is on the second floor, so it does require walking up a wide staircase. Taieb is very friendly and makes the check-in and check-out process very simple. I would highly recommend the apartment to others.
