For an overnight between the islands and flight from Surat Thani, this was perfect and seamless. Mr Yo and his lovely wife ensured I was picked up on time, fed and was comfortable. I felt like a valued guest.

A little paradise. Great staff, great communication, everything is amazing. Sadly we couldn't extend our stay as the place was fully booked at the time we wanted to stay longer.

Set within a few steps of Bang Po Beach and 11 km of Fisherman Village in Ban Bang Po, Coco Sea Bangpo Resort offers accommodation with seating area. Property is located right on the beach but also private. Everything is in walking distance. The proprietor Su is such a sweet lady and makes sure you have everything you need. Very comfortable and great air conditioning too.

Located in Khao Sok and only 2.2 km from Khao Sok, Anita dream house provides accommodation with mountain views, free WiFi and free private parking. The place was very clean and comfortable, right across the street from a monkey temple and the hosts went above and beyond in terms of hospitality. The food was amazing as well. The elephant sanctuary is also about 1km away. Tuck also setup Valentine's rose pedal decorations for me ahead of check-in so I was able to surprise my girlfriend when we arrived. I couldn't be more grateful for how things went.

Featuring a garden and views of mountain, Billion Views Khaosok Homestay is a recently renovated guest house set in Khao Sok, 20 km from Khao Sok. We absolutely loved Billion Views - the location takes your breath away. It’s a beautiful house and we had some great food, a lot of which was organic and grown at the homestay. Chompunut made us feel so welcome and nothing was too much trouble. She organised some fab days out - saw lots of monkeys bamboo rafting and bathed elephants in the sanctuary . Thankfully she was able to arrange our taxi when we were let down on the morning of departure. We made some new friends and the dogs were great fun too! We look forward to visiting again one day.

Located 400 metres from Thong Nai Pan Noi, The Hill Village features free WiFi access and free private parking. Certain rooms have a seating area where you can relax. Legit. Absolutely worth it! Secluded bungalows, what a beautiful place. Value for money, I hope to be back soon. For the old/drunk/high, be WARY, the hills in this area as all have said, can be intimidating (Hill Village... nuff said) . Rest assured, the scooters available for hire are capable of toppling it all and are pristine. I wish I had more time to explore the immediate vicinity....

Boasting free bikes, Siri Guesthouse @ Surat Thani is set in Suratthani in the Surat Thani Province region, 14 km from Surat Thani Railway Station and 8.5 km from Surat Thani Rajabhat University. The room is impeccable and the host is wonderful. We all loved her, also her food. One of those places that make you feel good.

Featuring a garden and bar, as well as a restaurant, Khao Sok Holiday Resort is located in Khao Sok. Both free WiFi and parking on-site are available at the guest house free of charge. One of the best places I’ve stayed in Thailand. Perfectly clean, really beautiful setting in the garden, great shower and bed, amazing owner Na, restaurant and mini mart next door, breakfast available (although I didn’t try). Just outside of town but great if you have a motorbike.
