Location is perfect - each morning you can go directly to the beach without actually leaving the territory of the hotel. Staff are the best people, always help with any problem. For me they brought gas balloon to cook my breakfast every morning! They did it specially for me, which was just wonderful! We got a chat in WhatsApp so they were in contact all the time! Rooms are very clean and cozy, all electrical equipment are in place and work properly.

Met all our expectations and more. All requests met. Easy access. Tuck accompanied us to the monkey temple in front to feed the monkeys and to visit a cave, lent us his scooter and organised our day trip to Khao Sok National Park and onward travel to Khao Sok by minivan. Anita is a great cook if you want to order any food. Beautiful room and bathroom, Netflix working well, lovely to have a private pool just for us!!

Featuring a garden and views of mountain, Billion Views Khaosok Homestay is a recently renovated guest house set in Khao Sok, 20 km from Khao Sok. We arrived and was immediately wowed by the grandness of the house. The pictures does not capture the intricate carpentry and huge columns and beams. Anyone who appreciates wood will spend some time appreciating the architecture and and construction. Exceptional hospitality. Ideal for families. We were so well taken care of by Nook and any kids will definitely enjoy the company of Manow (a very warm and intelligent Labrador). Fantastic environment for good rest, great air and yes "Billion" is a very apt description of the view you get here. You won't miss the TV here and you will wind down easily every evening and sleep so well! Great conversations with Pierre and Nook. They have such good life stories to share that it is almost therapeutic.

Offering garden views, Khwahol Guesthouse in Don Sak features accommodation, an outdoor swimming pool, an open-air bath, a garden and a shared lounge. We were very lucky to get a last minute booking. The hosts were accommodating and helpful. We had dinner in the evening and the food was excellent too.

Located in Bophut, within 400 metres of Bophut Beach and 1.4 km of Bang Rak Beach, Baan Yaimai Boutique Samui provides accommodation with pool with a view as well as free private parking for guests... This was the third place I stay at in Samui, and honestly it was the best!! I stayed for two weeks and enjoyed a lot, i felt at home. The place looked like a house with few rooms that are booked by guests. My room was in the second floor and it was just what I needed. The place felt vintage yet not old at all. The pool was nice to enjoy especially with the hot weather. The place was really clean, the house keeper was also very nice to me and greeted me with a smile and chatted couple of times with me. The price for what u get was great! I think it was a reasonable price for my stay. Also, only 3 minutes walk from Fisherman’s Village which was perfect and everything i needed was nearby: restaurants, beach, laundry service, 7/11. The place was quite all day and night, i really enjoyed the quietness. If i come back to samui i would only stay here for sure.

The host/owner (also named BeauBo) is so friendly and generous. She took us to a night market/festival one night and came with us to the half moon party the next night. She made sure we were comfortable, had everything we need, and helped us with all of our other bookings and rentals. It helps that the property is super nice and in an awesome location. Truly an amazing experience.

Located 400 metres from Thong Nai Pan Noi, The Hill Village features free WiFi access and free private parking. Certain rooms have a seating area where you can relax. Legit. Absolutely worth it! Secluded bungalows, what a beautiful place. Value for money, I hope to be back soon. For the old/drunk/high, be WARY, the hills in this area as all have said, can be intimidating (Hill Village... nuff said) . Rest assured, the scooters available for hire are capable of toppling it all and are pristine. I wish I had more time to explore the immediate vicinity....

Boasting free bikes, Siri Guesthouse @ Surat Thani is set in Suratthani in the Surat Thani Province region, 14 km from Surat Thani Railway Station and 8.5 km from Surat Thani Rajabhat University. The Owners are lovely and very helpful and welcoming, the lady even offered to take us to the airport if we couldn’t find an Uber, which was really generous. The room is very clean, included a fridge and TV and good storage space for luggage, feels quite new and bathroom was well equipped with a good shower. I would definitely stay here again!
