Located in Kanchanaburi, less than 1 km from The Jeath War Museum and 2.9 km from Kanchanaburi Railway Station, Home of River Kwai offers a terrace and air conditioning. The staff were very friendly and accommodating, and the hotel is in a quiet area, with great value and service. I will return soon.

So beautiful and filled with plants. Right in the middle of the city as well, very comfortable location. The host was also very helpful and always answered all my questions. You can also use the hotels bikes and bike around the city!

Set a 5-minute walk from Sai Yok Noi Waterfall, Yayei Homestay offers accommodation with free WiFi. Guests can enjoy Thai massage on site. Each room features air conditioning and a TV. Exceptionally friendly and helpful staff. Nothing was too much trouble. The food was really good and very reasonable.

Offering a non-smoking property, Jim Guest House provides an on-site a la carte restaurant serving Thai food. Cleaness, garden, quietness, towel rack on the side of each bungalow. Very helpful in getting taxi’s for us. Bear in mind it’s not in town hence as either to take a tok 2 or 10 min walk to the outskirt which has 7 -11 shop, some restaurants.

P.Y. Guest House is 200 meres from JEATH War Museum. It offers air-conditioned rooms with free Wi-Fi and free drinking water. This has been our favourite stay in Thailand so far!! The whole experience of staying there was lovely because the hosts are so kind and the property is really cozy and welcoming. They are really genuine people who help you out getting around and with recommendations, they also offered us a ride when they had the time - we ended up staying an extra night because our other accommodation got cancelled last minute and we enjoyed it so much we decided to spend some extra time there 🙂

Situated in Ban Hin Hak and only 21 km from Erawan Waterfall, ณ กาญโฮม features accommodation with mountain views, free WiFi and free private parking. A very friendly couple is running this small resort. It is quite remote and I arrived late so I was extremely glad I was offered a proper meal -very much appreciated... Breakfast on the terrace was also very nice...

Boasting mountain views, PilokMyhome ที่พักเหมืองปิล็อก บ้านอีต่อง is situated in Ban Pilok Khi, around 8.3 km from Thong Pha Phum National Park. Nice clean room, beautiful view, lovely breakfast.

Offering a sun terrace and water sports facilities, Sweet Home Floating House is set in Ban Lum Le. Guests can enjoy the on-site restaurant. Some units include views of the lake or garden. Quiet environment, stunning views, friendly and hospitable staff. We had such a peaceful time, it was like being in heaven. Definitely one of the loveliest accommodations in Kanchanaburi. We would love to come back again!

Set amidst rural landscapes, Ban Sabai Sabai offers the experience of living in a Thai village. Just 5 minutes’ walk from River Kwai, it features a restaurant and free Wi-Fi. We stayed for three days in this little paradise. Lovely room in a lovely garden with lovely people. They speak quite good English and are very willing to help with anything. Every day after sightseeing we were glad to get back "home" and have a beer on our balcony overlooking the garden and listering to the birds in the jungle next to us. Comfortable beds, good working showers, aircom. They even made breakfast en cooked dinner for us, (although that's not in the deal!) and took us to the station. A lovely place for peace, quiet and beauty.

Offering inner courtyard views, เชอโคว์ เชอโคว์ โฮมสเตย์ is an accommodation set in Sangkhla Buri, 1.4 km from Mon Bridge and 7.6 km from Chedi Phutthakhaya. Very nice and helpful staff, authentic homestay, family atmosphere, clean. Very affordable including breakfast. Basic breakfast is pretty simple but we receied something extra every day, apparently common with the family breakfast. For those looking for authentic Thai homestay, simple, clean, with nice and smiley staff, this is a great choice.
