I felt so relaxed and happy there, sitting on the veranda watching the birds in the gardens and reading my book. 5 mins walk to 7-11 shop, nearby to everything. Easy to get around the island with bikes (provided free), mopeds or tuk tuks. Make sure you go to pad thai lady. Less built-up and tourism focussed than other islands. 100% recommended.

It's close to the ferry and town, and you can walk all over the island. People running it were super nice, delivering breakfast to me every morning, and even giving me a ride to the ferry when it was time for me to go.
