Boutique Penzion Slovakia & Slovakia Residence is located centrally in Kosice just 50 metres from St. Alzbeta Cathedral. The property has a steakhouse restaurant, and a terrace for dining. Close to the old town on a quiet street. Parking was nearby and free of charge. The apartment is large enough and very nice decorated.

Hrabusice is the best base for a visit to Slovensky Raj and exploring the Spis region. Some hiking trails (Hornad canyon, Sucha Bela) are walking distance from the village, for the rest you would need a car as public transport is limited outside summer holidays. Due to some mix up with the booking Peter (the host) arranged for us to stay in an apartment in another part of the village. It was an upgrade as we had a whole very comfy apartment with kitchen to ourselves. Communication with Peter was fast and reliable and the proposed solution more than satisfactory! Tip for visitors: since April 2024 local tourist tax (2 euros per person per night) allows free entry to paid sites in Slovensky Raj and includes insurance for mountain rescue costs.

The rooms on the property are in a perfect location, the area is very nice - lots of trees, a fireplace, a fountain, you feel like in woods :) The room itself is small but nice but has everything you need including kitchen supplies. The bathroom has a big shower :) Over all, it is a cozy place to stay - almost feels like a little cottage in woods although you are in a small village. The owner is very friendly and always on phone if you need anything.

Beautiful house, very firendly and helpful hosts, and the national park nearby is nearby. I can definitely recommend staying here :-)

Objekat Penzion Zlaty Orol, koji je smešten u gradu Helcmanovce, ima besplatne bicikle, terasu, bar i besplatan WiFi u celom objektu. The wellness centre was great, Finnish, steam and infrared sauna, whirlpool, swimming pool and a cold water tub, which we had all to ourselves for a couple of hours. The quiet rooms, with comfortable beds, decent enough sized bathroom, great restaurant downstairs, with a wide range of dishes including Slovak specialties, beer and wine. Breakfast had a reasonable selection and there was plenty of that.
