We wanted quite and romantic place, out of the city place but close enough to drive by car. This place is located 20-25 minutes from the Sabrosa/Pinhao. The stay was amazing! The room was spacious enough and we had a big window facing the valley. The sunset and the morning views are incredible there. And because of the isolated location it so quite there. Except the room there is also a place outside in the property to sit and enjoy the wine and the views. The host gave us a taste of their own wine and port and we also asked for the breakfast (additional price). Wow, you definitely must have it! Aurora made us a wonderful breakfast. Everything on the table came from their own garden. And the view from the balcony (where we ate) is amazing.

Featuring pool with a view and views of river, Quinta da Gricha is a guest house situated in a historic building in Ervedosa do Douro, 32 km from Douro Museum. Really exceptional! It is a bit of a journey to get there on windy single-lane road, but once you get there it is such a tranquil, spectacular location. The rooms are beautiful and very comfortable. We did a tour and tasting and the port was lovely and the staff very helpful and friendly. We had a dinner prepared for us and ate on the balcony during sunset, it was delicious and very fresh (we requested a vegetarian meal). The shared spaces (kitchen, lounge area, balcony) are very comfortable, stylish, and inviting. There is an honor bar with beer, wine, port, and soft drinks which is a very nice touch. Finally, the pool is spectacular! An amazing place, I highly recommend!

Situated in Folgosa and only 12 km from Douro Museum, Tomás Barqueiro features accommodation with mountain views, free WiFi and free private parking. The view from the room and from the pool area was breathtaking. Super kind staff, i would have stayed for a month so mesmerized by my surroundings

We had a spacious room with a fantastic view of the valley. Jet and Ronald were very friendly and gave us great advice and suggestions on places to visit. We took a walk through the vineyards down to Pinhão. The scenery was magical. Highly recommended.
