Quinta Costa da Estrela asub Gouveias, Mangualde Live kunstlikust rannast 26 km ja looduspargist Parque Natural Serra da Estrela 39 km kaugusel. The lodging is in the ground floor of a carefully modernized and upgraded house in the center of Gouveia. The host was completely fluent in English and Portuguese, and answered lots of questions about the town and surrounding area. The room was large and quiet, with a large spotless bath. Breakfast was a nice selection of fresh foods.

Quinta do Quinto asub Porto da Carnes. Kohapeal on hooajaline välibassein, baar, ühine puhkeruum ja aed. Kohapeal on terrass, tasuta WiFi-ühendus ja tasuta eraparkla. Beautiful sot on the Rio Mondego to spend the afternoon.

Mäevaatega Casa do Telheiro pakub terrassiga majutust umbes 20 km kaugusel looduspargist Serra da Estrela. Majutusasutusest avaneb vaade aiale ja vaiksele tänavale. We loved the place. Joana was very nice and helpful, she gave us many suggestions about places we could visit and have a nice chat with us. Everything was clean and tidy. The room was comfortable and so was the bed. The place is very quiet and we had a really peaceful and relaxing experience

Grillimisvõimaluse ja aiavaatega Casa da Ribeirinha asub Sabugueiros, 44 km kaugusel Mangualde Live kunstlikust rannast ja 20 km kaugusel Manteigase kuumaveeallikatest. The house is very well located, clean and well maintained. The staff is great at accomodating our needs.

Manteigase kesklinnas asuv Casa D’Avenida on värskelt renoveeritud peremaja, mis asub Serra da Estrela looduspargis. The room had a comfy bed and a nice little balcony with mountain view (due to very bad weather we couldn't use it, unfortunately). Downstairs there is a nice seating area with an oven which we used to get dry and warm up after some very rainy hikes. The guest house is located right at the little stream flowing through Manteigas, so restaurants and shops are right around the corner. (We recommend Infusao, just a couple of steps up the stream from the guest house.) The breakfast was amazing and very extensive, even when only us two were left at the hotel. Best thing: we could pack bread etc for lunch, tea and coffee were always available downstairs, as was the amazing home-made cake. We were looking forward to this after every hike.

Very quiet, pretty little village with wonderful views. The house was comfortable and well equipped, breakfast (and dinner at their restaurant) was excellent. The best of all is that the houses are run by a very professional, kind team that run the extra mile to make ou feel at home. we had a wonderful time and would happily return in the Summer to try out that pool with the views!

Quinta da Vargem asub Serra da Estrela looduspargi jalamil Unhais da Serra küla lähedal. Külalised saavad nautida maalilist vaadet maastikule ning kasutada välibasseini ja tenniseväljakut. Stunning location, hidden away but still very accessible. Wonderful hostess who couldn't have done more to make us feel welcome. Very comfortable beds, quality furnishings/decor and spacious, well equipped bathroom. Various living areas to relax in with wonderful warm log burners and great views. Breakfast was delicious, with quality ingredients, and plentiful.
