Owner was very communicative, open and provided great recommendations on what to visit in the area, where to dine etc. Property had amazing views and even more amazing cat :)

Boasting an infinity pool and views of pool, Quinta do Monte Travesso - Country Houses & Winery is a guest house set in a historic building in Tabuaço, 25 km from Douro Museum. Perfect location to visit wineries! Amazing little villa with beautiful surroundings! Just out of this world amazing staff! The daily fresh bread and a fridge stock with breakfast items were certainly a highlight! All this on top of the wine produced at Monte Travesso!

Zimão Garden House is located in Vila Real, 30 km from Natur Waterpark, 31 km from Golf Course Vidago Palace, and 43 km from Douro Museum. Friendly owner and manager. Had some basic ingredients to cook with.

Quinta Pedreira dos Anjos has mountain views, free WiFi and free private parking, situated in Provesende, 12 km from Natur Waterpark. We wanted quite and romantic place, out of the city place but close enough to drive by car. This place is located 20-25 minutes from the Sabrosa/Pinhao. The stay was amazing! The room was spacious enough and we had a big window facing the valley. The sunset and the morning views are incredible there. And because of the isolated location it so quite there. Except the room there is also a place outside in the property to sit and enjoy the wine and the views. The host gave us a taste of their own wine and port and we also asked for the breakfast (additional price). Wow, you definitely must have it! Aurora made us a wonderful breakfast. Everything on the table came from their own garden. And the view from the balcony (where we ate) is amazing.

Located within 12 km of Longroiva Hot Springs and 40 km of São João da Pesqueira Wine Museum, Casa dos Primos provides rooms with air conditioning and a private bathroom in Muxagata. A lovely stay with hosts that treat you like family. The room is spotless clean, and you get to use the dining and living rooms, it’s spacious and nice. But mostly it’s the chance to meet the nicest hosts and feel the real Portugal. We highly recommend it, and hope to come again.

A recently renovated homestay in Peso da Régua and within 1.4 km of Douro Museum, Casa Vila Rosa features a seasonal outdoor swimming pool, comfortable allergy-free rooms and free WiFi. Beautiful house full of character and extremely well kept. Excellent position even being in a very quiet neighborhood.

Situated within 49 km of Mangualde Live Artificial Beach and 32 km of Monastery of São Joao de Tarouca, Casa do Castelo features rooms with air conditioning and a private bathroom in Sernancelhe. Price was good. Comfort was good. There were several channels on TV.

Offering a shared lounge and city view, The Pine House is set in Peso da Régua, 17 km from Our Lady of Remedies Sanctuary and 23 km from Natur Waterpark. Great location and breakfast. Wonderful view and very lovely hosts.

Casa de Carrapatelo is situated in Mesão Frio and has a pool with a view and garden views. This property offers access to a terrace, free private parking and free WiFi. The property was exceptional, we had a lot of space, we had a fully equipped kitchen, a washing machine, coffee. The shower was very large, the view was to peaceful vineyards. The host was very welcoming and answered fast to every question we had.

A beautifully decorated spacious apartment which exceeded our expectations. Very comfortable, home from home and in a convenient location to access river cruises and restaurants.
