Beautiful renovated house, full of history! Related to the Botanical garden of Ponta Delgada, which is right next door. The rooms were very comfortable and cozy. Staff was friendly and helpful. We spent New years and the views to the bay and fireworks was unbeatable! We would definitely come back again 😊

I recently stayed at a newly built hotel in Ponta Delgada for one night and had a very pleasant experience. The modern design and fresh ambiance were immediately noticeable. We used the convenient self-check-in option, which was quick and easy. Despite our early morning checkout, the hotel kindly prepared a special breakfast for us, showcasing their excellent service. The hotel featured a well-equipped kitchen on the ground floor and an inviting pool area, though we didn't have time to use the pool.

Graça the host, is fantastic, and the place is magical. The location by the airport is very convenient and not noisy at all. Amazing view to Pico.

Featuring an outdoor swimming pool and views of sea, Solar de Santo André is a recently renovated guest house located in Ponta Delgada, 12 km from Pico do Carvao. I usually don’t write reviews but I can’t resist this time. This place went way beyond our expectations. This house is darling! The house itself is both historic and fascinating - an oasis in the city centre. The rooms are comfy and modern. The breakfast was very good. And the hostess went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. Would definitely recommend!

Located in Ponta Delgada, 8.5 km from Pico do Carvao, Vila Rosario provides accommodation with free WiFi and free private parking. Fairly new exceptionally clean apartment style villa. The owner was more than helpful answering questions and providing for our needs such as an early breakfast and information on restaurants. The room had adequate kitchen equipment to allow you to make easy meals. A large grocery store is a short distance away. The kitchen had a few basic herbs and spices that you could use. It was very quiet with a secure locked entrance after 5:00 that each guest had a remote to be able to enter.

Located in Madalena, Casa-do-Mar features accommodation with seating area. Featuring a shared kitchen, this property also provides guests with an outdoor fireplace. Casa do Mar stole our hearts! We loved everything about our stay. The view at sea and Faial is mesmerizing. The facilities in the house are superb, we cooked some lovely diners in the kitchen and enjoyed eating them on the shared terrace while enjoying the sunset. In the morning you are welcomed with a lovely breakfast and hot coffee. The bed and shower is good. There is osmosis tap water, therefore you do not have to buy big bottles of water. A huge supermarket is only 10min walking. The walk into town (Madalena) is only a few minutes where you can jump into the natural swimming pools, go for a nice diner or walk to the harbour to go for a whale watching tour. The interior of the house is very scandinavian and light, with lots of wood. As said… we loved it and if we ever visit Pico again we would definetely stay here again.

CITY STONE HOUSE in Ponta Delgada provides adults-only accommodation with a garden, barbecue facilities and a shared lounge. The property is situated in Ponte Delgada, few minutes walk to the centre with plenty of restaurants to choose from. The parking area was easily accessible and only a few meters from the house. Emanuel was there to meet us when we arrived, and he was always reachable when we needed - a very nice host! :) He recommended places to visit and really good restaurants. The house has a common kitchen area and outdoor area which was always kept clean and tidy. Our room had a balcony overlooking the parking area, which we enjoyed having breakfast or a drink.

Arrivillage, a property with a garden, is situated in Arrifes, 7.6 km from Pico do Carvao, 19 km from Sete Cidades Lagoon, as well as 20 km from Lagoa Verde. I loved all the family and they were also so sweet and patient with our little toddler! José was always available to provide us with anything we needed and to talk to us about the island and his memories there. In a few days we felt like at home and we definitely want to go back. Arrivillage is an authentic place for the travellers that want to meet the locals and get amazed by their warmth!

Pousada da Vila features air-conditioned guest accommodation in Vila Franca do Campo, 500 metres from Praia do Corpo Santo, 600 metres from Praia da Vinha da Areia and 1.2 km from Leopoldina Beach. Very well placed, quiet yet close to everything. Elisabeth was very accommodating, organised and nice. We had a great time! Free parking very close to the house, excellent food just around the corner, the beach within 5mn of walking. What’s not to like. Highly recommended!
