Solar dos Cantos Botanic House & Garden er staðsett í Ponta Delgada, í innan við 13 km fjarlægð frá Pico do Carvao og 25 km frá Sete Cidades-lóninu. Great place to stay with a big garden around the house, good facilities. Felt like a good home, stayed two days, but now I'm considering more. Staff is really helpful & friendly. Good place at the garden to watch the fireworks on New year's eve. Excellent stay in Ponta Delgada. Everything in walling distance, free parking.

The Rock Hostel er staðsett í Ponta Delgada, 12 km frá Pico do Carvao og 24 km frá Sete Cidades-lóninu. Boðið er upp á loftkæld gistirými með verönd og ókeypis WiFi. The building was freshly renovated. Everything worked very well. The aircondition was very silent! The room was spacious. There was a small plunge pool, very handy.

Quinta dos Mistérios- Turismo de Habitação er staðsett í Fajã de Santo Amaro á São Jorge-eyjunni og býður upp á garð. Gististaðurinn er með sjávar- og garðútsýni. We had a wonderful time at Quinta dos Mistérios. Besides the beautiful complete overhaul of a historical house, the decoration, the comfort, the amenities and the sympathy of the Host and her Assistant is more than enough for you to enjoy some well spent days in a comfortable and quiet environment thus allowing you to enjoy the beautiful natural environment that the island offers.

Solar de Santo André er nýlega enduruppgert gistihús í Ponta Delgada, 12 km frá Pico do Carvao. Það býður upp á útisundlaug og sjávarútsýni. Absolutely stunning mansion that is a bit like a museum but one you get to hang out in. Very comfortable room that was kept spotless and the staff was lovely. Breakfast was also excellent. There is a nice pool as well as a sauna that you can get them to heat up for you.

The owner was more than helpful answering questions and providing for our needs such as an early breakfast and information on restaurants. The room had adequate kitchen equipment to allow you to make easy meals. A large grocery store is a short distance away. The kitchen had a few basic herbs and spices that you could use. It was very quiet with a secure locked entrance after 5:00 that each guest had a remote to be able to enter.

Casa-do-Mar er staðsett í Madalena og býður upp á gistirými með setusvæði. Gististaðurinn er með sameiginlegt eldhús og arinn utandyra. Great 4 night stay for 2 couples spending 3 weeks in the Azores. A little tricky to find using Google maps. Ample parking, once we found it!! Easy walk to town along the ocean. Large grocery store and tasty restaurants all within walking distance. We enjoyed use of the kitchen for a couple simple dinners.

Pico er í 12 km fjarlægð do Carvao, DMCharme býður upp á loftkæld gistirými með svölum. Gistirýmið er með verönd og útsýni yfir innri húsgarðinn. Gistihúsið býður upp á borgarútsýni. Daniel is a great and very helpful host who goes above and beyond to assist you with all questions you may have - very responsive during the whole stay and super friendly. The place is exactly as the pictures show it - a beautiful old house with a spirit, huge shared bathroom with very good water pressure, new air conditioner in the room that works very well. I found the location excellent - just opposite the house there's a laundry self service, and a great pizza place. In the place there's also a shared kitchen with everything you may need. WIfi worked very well for me as well. 10 out of 10 and will definitely choose that place if I return to PDL some day! Obrigada!

CITY STONE HOUSE í Ponta Delgada er gistirými sem er aðeins fyrir fullorðna. Boðið er upp á garð, grillaðstöðu og sameiginlega setustofu. I was warmly welcomed by Emanuel upon arrival at the impeccably clean and well-equipped accommodation. His helpfulness and meticulous attention to detail ensured a comfortable stay. I lacked for nothing, as every convenience was provided. I wholeheartedly recommend this welcoming and cozy place to anyone seeking accommodation in the area. It was an absolute pleasure, and I look forward to returning on my next visit. Highly recommended!

Arrivillage er gististaður með garði í Arrifes, 7,6 km frá Pico do Carvao, 19 km frá Sete Cidades-lóninu og 20 km frá Lagoa Verde. I have been using Booking for both business and pleasure for over 20 years and, with my family, we have stayed in many countries and lodged in as many establishments, hotels, private houses. Never before, however, have we had such a good time. Our stay at Arrivillage was the best ever. Mr Jose'-Maria and his family made available to us not only their beautiful, large, very clean house with all possible comforts, but all themselves. They made us feel better than in our own home and, from the start, we knew it was going to be a special stay. Mr. Jose-Maria is a real, lovely gentlemen. Every day he made sure we had the best, advising us on what to see that was beautiful (lots of it) and made himself totally available to readjust our daily schedule according to the weather conditions which, unfortunately, were not optimal. We would highly recommend a stay at Mr Jose'-Maria's House if you want to visit Sao Miguel. IMPORTANT: don't do as we did when we thought it was too far to go from one end of the island to the other and booked two houses, one in the west (Arrivillage, indeed) and another house in the east of the island. In fact, from Mr. Jose'-Maria house you can visit the whole island easily with short, daily trips. Its location is just perfect: close to the airport, close to Ponta Delgada, and within 20-25 minutes drive at maximum from every site to visit! Top Top Top!!! Francesco

Excellent location, service, and value for money. The hosts are thoughtful and helpful, and it is fun to share the kitchen with guests and exchange experiences.
