I'm very grateful for choosing to stay at Hostal universal in Huaraz! I highly recommend this place for various reasons. It's conveniently located just blocks away from the city center, and just outside the hostel doors you will find loads of fresh fruits, vegetables, and many local shops! The rooms are very well priced and VERY well maintained, with hot showers, fresh linens, tv's, lots of space, private bathrooms, and they even clean your rooms EVERY day! Although I can attest to the above, what really sold me on this place was the hospitality that I received from Dante & Yovana. It's a family ran business that goes above and beyond to ensure your stay is fantastic. They serve breakfast, and continuously accommodated for me as I often left early to do some trekking. They were even kind enough to allow me to store my bags there during a 4 day trek (secured away) and have a later check out since I was taking a night bus back to Lima. If you're looking for a quiet and friendly place that feels very comfortable, I definitely recommend staying here at Hostal Universal! A great hostel in Huaraz, offering comfort, cleanliness, and a welcoming staff. While it's a bit far from the city center, the trade-off is well worth it for the comfort and cleanliness it provides. Plus, there's a convenient public minivan that takes you to the city center for just a few cents. Highly recommended, and I would definitely stay there again!

With river views, Hacienda Norabuena is located in Recuay and has a restaurant, a 24-hour front desk, bar, garden, sun terrace and outdoor fireplace. Wonderful, extremely friendly and helpful owners, adorable pets, the cute Llama follows the owner like a dog. We stayed 3 days in the clean and cosy rooms and enjoyed netflix, the animals, the landscape, did a daytrip to Chavin and Hatun Machay. Very relaxing. Meals were great, too. It was cold at night in August due to the altitude, but blankets where thick and cosy and hot water 24h available

Located in Tarica and only 17 km from Estadio Rosas Pampa, Casa Alojamiento Tocllaraju provides accommodation with mountain views, free WiFi and free private parking. The house is super clean and beautiful, having a sense of Instagram. It was my second time to stay here and I enjoyed it as before. I truely recomend you to stay here. The hosts are so friendly. I will definitely come back again.

Alpino Guest House is offering accommodation in Huaraz. It is located 2.9 km from Estadio Rosas Pampa and provides room service. We loved the staff, they were friendly, kind, communicative, knowledgeable, and went above and beyond for us. They also spoke English very well, which is not common in Huaraz, so that made this stay a lot easier for us because we are not strong Spanish speakers. The rooms and the bathroom were clean. The location was quiet so we were able to sleep well. Hot water was available (the labels were incorrect but there was hot water nonetheless). We had good phone signal/reception and wifi was available. The hotel staff also booked our tours for us which helped make our trip smooth and easy. They also offered to make us breakfast for a small fee since we had to be up really early for our tours. This was such a pleasant stay, I highly recommend.
