This was a beautiful well stocked room overlooking the Tasman Sea. The owner was very helpful and nice!

Hands down, the Old Vicarage is the absolute most enjoyable BnB we have ever stayed in. It's very spacious. It's NOT a typical kiwi motel (which we had been frequenting around the south island til then). It has an old, comfortable "relaxing in your slippers" kind of feel to it. The beautiful polished wood (pine?) flooring was a joy to behold. We arrived quite early, because of rain which forced us to decide to skip a portion of our planned route. As soon as we got there I thought, this is a LOT better than what we had planned. We started a fire in the welcoming fireplace, using the firewood supplied. We scoured the library and the movie collection, and found that we really needed to stay for about 3 months, there were so many books and movies we wanted to read/watch. The gardens are lovely (a tad less so in the rain, but still...). Overall, it felt more like home than home does. We really loved this place. Can't say that about most motels.

Situated in Fox Glacier in the West Coast region, Rocky Creek Shepherds Hut has a balcony and mountain views. This property offers access to a terrace, free private parking and free WiFi. The hut was so cute!! My partner and I loved that it was fully contained and the location was right in town. There were some very friendly farm animals and a welcome book which made us feel right at home. The welcome book shared the family connection to Fox Glacier and I only wish we couldve stayed longer to meet the hosts and learn more about their slice of paradise!!!

I stayed in the unit separate from the house. it was very nice, comfortable and clean. location was an easy walk to town. Tony and Leanne and sons were super nice and made me feel at home!

We booked a hour before arrival. Turns out they had hurried out to start heating the room up for us almost immediately. Very friendly and welcoming. Well equipped kitchen.
