Skagakaia is located in Bø i Vesterålen. Offering a restaurant, serving breakfast and dinner based on local ingredients and tradition. WIFi, parking and bed linen are free. Everything. This place is a GEM. It’s a bit out there, but I like places that are a bit more removed. The view is spectacular, the room was clean and comfortable. Additionally, I arrived super late due to ferry schedules and was met by the owner who recognized I’d not eaten and made me dinner. We sat up and chatted for ages, she was so kind. It’s been just amazing and I can’t recommend this place enough.

This is just the perfect place with a perfect host, great music, art and a nice neighbourhood. They stepped when public transport was weak.

Featuring a terrace, Frugga Feriehus og leilighet is a holiday home, located in Hovden. Guests benefit from patio. Such a stunning, remote location – we couldn’t believe the views. The host was incredibly nice and the apartment was well-equipped, I was pleased to see an induction hob and even a dishwasher. Very comfy bed and the room even had AC, which was quite helpful as it got quite hot during our stay due to the 24 hours of daylight in the summer months. Everything was exceptionally clean as well. I wish we could have stayed longer!

It's a quiet and beautiful place. We had a problem with our flight and we arrived very late and the staff help us with late check-in and many helpful details.

This central Andenes accommodation overlooks the Norwegian Sea and harbour. Upon arrival, guests are welcomed with free coffee or tea. Very friendly owner. A warm welcome, helped me park the motorcycle, showed me around the house. I had to stay a day longer because of the storm, offered to help with whatever I needed, and just now (the morning of departure) it started snowing really badly and he called to ask if I was OK. The house itself is very charming with the old characteristics, but has everything a modern house needs. The kitchen is very complete, the heating works well, the shower is great and the wifi works well. The location is also great; just off the ferry and walking distance to some nice restaurants.

Situated at Nyksund Harbour, this family-owned, eco-certified guesthouse offers a restaurant and rooms and apartments with free Wi-Fi access. Myre village centre is 15 km away. Wonderfully shambolic accommodation full of bric-a-brac. Lovely looking restaurant and charming host. Nyksund is quite a way from anywhere but well worth the detour to see. In March there was virtually nobody else there but I suspect it gets pretty busy in summer. Would highly recommend.

Arctic Garden in Lødingen offers self-catering accommodation with a surrounding garden in a romantic atmosphere. Free private parking on site and WiFi are offered. We stayed in the double room upstairs. It was kitted out with everything we needed with a very comfortable bed and was walking distance to the restaurants.
