Such a stunning, remote location – we couldn’t believe the views. The host was incredibly nice and the apartment was well-equipped, I was pleased to see an induction hob and even a dishwasher. Very comfy bed and the room even had AC, which was quite helpful as it got quite hot during our stay due to the 24 hours of daylight in the summer months. Everything was exceptionally clean as well. I wish we could have stayed longer!

This central Andenes accommodation overlooks the Norwegian Sea and harbour. Upon arrival, guests are welcomed with free coffee or tea. perhaps the most beautiful place my eyes have ever seen, no exaggerations, a true shiny gem. I had no idea I was ever able to set a foot here. To your left you have incredible views on the majestic pointy mountains of Andøya on your right there are the many shapes of Senja island, across the sea. The stay was an experience itself, a traditional Norwegian home and the town itself is a quaint fishing village. Pretty views from the window in the single room.

Risøyhamn Kafe has quiet street views, free WiFi and free private parking, situated in Risøyhamn. The property features inner courtyard views. Guests can make use of a terrace. Facilities were clean & comfortable, the owner is a really nice friendly guy, thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Highly recommend

Located in Lødingen in the Nordland region, Arctic Garden has a garden. The property features mountain and garden views. We stayed in the double room upstairs. It was kitted out with everything we needed with a very comfortable bed and was walking distance to the restaurants.

Holmvik Brygge Nyksund is a recently renovated guest house in Nyksund, where guests can make the most of its garden and terrace. Wonderfully shambolic accommodation full of bric-a-brac. Lovely looking restaurant and charming host. Nyksund is quite a way from anywhere but well worth the detour to see. In March there was virtually nobody else there but I suspect it gets pretty busy in summer. Would highly recommend.
