We felt so welcomed by the sweet couple that owns it. We made our booking just a few minutes before our arrival and max was working on our room. He quickly and kindly wrapped things up and let us know this was our home! He gave us food recommendations and told us about the area. He got to practice his English and us our Spanish. He was kind enough to drive us to the bus station the next morning. This was one of my warmest and welcomed stays.

The breakfast options were lovely, the view on the volcano was amazing and I really enjoyed having our private terrace with a hammock and howler monkeys that visited the surrounding nature every day. Oh, and the stars on a not cloudy day, best I have ever seen so far! We have really enjoyed our week on the island, could easily have stayed a bit longer. Café Campestre was nearby, great place for dinner. All in all, it was better than we imagined, thank you!
