With garden views, MENAKA HOMESTAY is located in Tangalle and has a restaurant, a 24-hour front desk, bar, garden, picnic area and barbecue. The room is super equipped and very clean. The special thing about the accommodation for me was the hosts in particular - they are the nicest people ever. They helped me with everything and we had great conversations. The dinner at their place was great, I can highly recommend it. It was the best accommodation in Sri Lanka so far.

In my opinion, this is the best place you can stay in Tangalle. It is located a little bit outside the center so calmer but still close enough so that within 5 minutes, you are in town if you wish to. Two of the most beautiful beaches of the area (Silent Beach and Goyambokka Beach) are within walking distance. The place itself is absolutely great. It's a beautiful house with the hosts living on ground floor and the rooms/apartments on 2nd and 3rd floor. They are very spacious and equipped with everything you need, both for a short vacation or for a longer term stay. The beds are comfortable and the mattresses have standard US/European length, so your feet won't stick out. The AC works properly and in addition there is a fan. The WiFi is perfectly stable and fast enough even for video calls. The bathroom is clean and designed in such a way so that you can take a shower without the entire floor being wet for hours. The host and his family are very friendly and welcoming. His English is very good which makes communication easy, and he replies very quickly. They offer food at their place and rent out scooters. Given the price all of this is offered to us as guests, this place definitely deserves a 10 star review. I have already recommended coming here to friends and am certain you will be happy staying here either.

Featuring river views, JAMI River Side Hotel & Yala Safari Place provides accommodation with patio, around 2.1 km from Tissa Wewa. The lady and her family were very lovely and welcomed us warmly. The room is also very nice and has a beautiful balcony. You can order delicious Sri Lankan foods for very affordable prices. We booked our safari via the accommodation and everything was perfect. The owner even woke us up and brought us tea. Thank you very much for everything❤️

Located within less than 1 km of Tissa Wewa and 25 km of Bundala Bird Sanctuary in Tissamaharama, Tissa Rainbow Guest & Yala provides accommodation with seating area. Place is located in Tissamaharama, maybe 2km of center but you have everything in for short stay. We spent 1 night before going to safari. Welcome drink - coconaut is something extra that we did not expect. Rooms has AC, fans, hot water, you can order meals and drinks. We enjoyed very much. Owner is helpfull, very nice man. House is very clean, rooms also.

Situated in Tissamaharama, 4.5 km from Tissa Wewa, Yala Safari River View Hotel features accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a terrace and a restaurant. Great spot to base yourself for Yala Park. The Cabana has 2 rooms available to book, one on the top floor with a terrace and one on the ground floor. My friend and I each booked one of the rooms which are equal in size and amenities. Very clean and a decent shower, good ac and wifi. The host was incredibly friendly and accommodating. She helped us with booking a Yala Park Tour. Best breakfast! Overall, great price and spot for access to Yala.

Offering a garden and lake view, Blue Sky Hotel Yala is located in Yala, 3 km from Tissa Wewa and 28 km from Bundala Bird Sanctuary. We were only at the hotel for 1 whole day to go on a safari in Yala National Park, still, it was a very nice stay with a warm welcoming and smiling hosts. We got a nice room with air condition and when we were picked up the next morning at 4:30 am for safari, the host came out with breakfast for us which was very ice.

Han ordnet safari som var en flott opplevelse. Veldig rent rom, sannsynligvis det reneste på hele turen. Vi fikk servert fantastisk curry til middag. Kan varmt anbefale dette stedet.

I really loved the location, it had an excellent view of the lake and it is a great family run business. We had dinner at the cabana and it was delicious.
