Located 11 km from Plain of Jars: Site 1, Kongkeo Guesthouse offers 1-star accommodation in Muang Phônsavan and features a garden. This was the most valuable part of our entire trip. The staff at the guesthouse go above and beyond to make you feel at home, and help you organise everything from transport to tours. The owner Kong, took us on a tour of the Plain of Jars and went out of his way to take us to all three sites, arrange our lunch, take photos, answer all our questions, and educate us on the history of the war in Laos and the impact it has on the country to this day. It is absolutely worthwhile doing a trip out to Phonsavan just to stay here and do the tour with Kong.

Boasting mountain views, Sipanya Guesthouse features accommodation with terrace, around 11 km from Plain of Jars: Site 1. Property is relatively new. Room is spacious and clean. Bed is also big with additional pillows for added comfort. Most rooms are located at the with unobstructed view of the fields.

The Hillside Residence is located in Xieng Khouang Province in Northern Laos. Just one km away from the city centre, it offers free parking and peaceful countryside accommodation. It was a comfortable room, clean, the people in charge were kind and helpful. The breakfast was rich and in general there was nothink problem.
