La struttura è incantevole, piena di piante e alberi fioriti. La zona, come vedrete dalla cartina, è un po’ fuori dalla cittadina e ottima per chi non vuole stare nel centro. Il mio bungalow (quello piccolo) è comodissimo, una casetta in cui mi sono trovata molto bene e con il proprio bagnetto in ordine e pulito. Smey è disponibilissimo. Gli ho chiesto di poter noleggiare una bici (che non ha più e ha dovuto vendere durante il covid) ed è andato a cercarla in centro per me. Aiuta con l’acquisto dei biglietti e lo spostamento verso il Laos. Ho fatto 2 giorni di trekking e notte nella giungla In amaca ed è stata una bella esperienza.

First I want to review the people who are running this place, Ney and Vuti. They are just amazing, here the word "homestay" takes on its full meaning. They take care of you like you were part of their family, and you meet the family, mother, kids, nieces etc... the atmosphere is lovely, and with my experience of traveling in South East Asia there are not many places where you feel so welcomed 😍 Thank you so much for these moments of joy! Secondly I want to talk about the trek in the jungle, I've done the 3 days 2 nights. What an amazing experience!!! Smey, our guide, was the most knowledgeable person! He is passionate about his job, he knows so many things about nature, life in the jungle, history of Cambodia and much much more. He was never tired and always happy to share all his knowledge with us. I can only fully recommend this amazing human being for your next adventure in the jungle😍 Thank you, thank you, thank yoooooooouuuu!!!

This is a great place to stay if you are looking for bit of rest or trekking in the jungle. The family has its own tour agency so everything can be booked through Homestay. We took gemstone mine, village and lake tour. I really liked our guide, he was very knowledgeable and felt like a friend from the very beginning. Great English and you can tell he is very familiar with the area. The homestay itself is located in a peaceful village 20min walk from Banlung town. It is surrounded by avocado trees set in a beautiful garden. There’s a good cafe just across the road, and great hotpot restaurant nearby. The owner offers free pick up from the bus station. He is very nice and attentive with perfect English, going an extra mile to accommodate the guests. Great stay, I hope to be back very soon!

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at the Happy Guesthouse. The room was spacious, the neighborhood was cozy, and the owner was very welcoming. Indeed, I embarked on an adventurous route recommended by the guesthouse owner, which took me through the Veun Sai-Siem Pang National Park. It was an unforgettable experience, cycling through savannah-like landscapes and passing by multiple tribal villages. Thanks for the tips! It was fantastic.

Il wifi è stabile. Puoi fare colazione alla guesthouse accanto e cenare nel ristorante in fondo alla strada, tutto ottimo. Affittano motorini e offrono tour, ti aiutano loro a organizzare i tuoi spostamenti.

Ratanakiri Lakeside Homestay & Tours is an accommodation located in Banlung, 12 km from Katieng Waterfall and 25 km from 7 Steps Waterfall. Very clean, basic room but comfortable bed and fan. The host, Nop, is absolutely fantastic. He helped with everything, from sorting a jungle trek, to accompanying me to the best breakfast restaurant in Banlung, taking me to the stunning waterfalls and lake outside the town and even helping fix a puncture and sorting a car mechanic. 10/10 for hosting.
