He was never tired and always happy to share all his knowledge with us. This is a great place to stay if you are looking for bit of rest or trekking in the jungle. The family has its own tour agency so everything can be booked through Homestay. We took gemstone mine, village and lake tour. I really liked our guide, he was very knowledgeable and felt like a friend from the very beginning. Great English and you can tell he is very familiar with the area. The homestay itself is located in a peaceful village 20min walk from Banlung town. It is surrounded by avocado trees set in a beautiful garden. There’s a good cafe just across the road, and great hotpot restaurant nearby. The owner offers free pick up from the bus station. He is very nice and attentive with perfect English, going an extra mile to accommodate the guests. Great stay, I hope to be back very soon!

Indeed, I embarked on an adventurous route recommended by the guesthouse owner, which took me through the Veun Sai-Siem Pang National Park. It was an unforgettable experience, cycling through savannah-like landscapes and passing by multiple tribal villages. Thanks for the tips! It was fantastic.

We had the happiest stay at the family guesthouse, I would highly recommend it to anyone. The family took great care of us and made us feel at home, we can say we will miss them! The guesthouse is a fantastic value for money, and the food is among the best we tried in Cambodia, delicious and plenty. The location is beautiful, with great views and at a convenient situation to visit the main attractions. In a cosy restaurant next to the guesthouse their delicious tradicional grandma's noodle soup is served and is worth a try. Thank you for everything, it has been a pleasure to spend some time with the family at your beautiful place :)

Ratanakiri Lakeside Homestay & Tours is an accommodation located in Banlung, 12 km from Katieng Waterfall and 25 km from 7 Steps Waterfall. Very clean, basic room but comfortable bed and fan. The host, Nop, is absolutely fantastic. He helped with everything, from sorting a jungle trek, to accompanying me to the best breakfast restaurant in Banlung, taking me to the stunning waterfalls and lake outside the town and even helping fix a puncture and sorting a car mechanic. 10/10 for hosting.
