The place is as portrayed on the website, very simple but has everything you need on a basic level.

Sono stati due giorni bellissimi, consigliamo a tutti di alloggiare a casa di Esaro e della sua splendida famiglia! I bungalow sono accoglienti, puliti, spaziosi, immersi nella natura. Sua moglie ci ha preparato colazioni e cene semplici ma squisite, tipiche della cucina khmer! Esaro è super disponibile, ha organizzato il tour per il giorno seguente e ci ha accompagnati alla batcave e alla montagna circostante. Abbiamo anche potuto partecipare al festival del quartiere per il nuovo anno, proprio come fossimo stati di famiglia. Rimarrà uno dei ricordi più belli della vacanza, grazie Esaro!

Situated 2.3 km from Battambang Museum, Primprey Second Home offers accommodation with a terrace, as well as a garden. This modern, pristine, and comfortable property is marvelous. The staff is very warm, accommodating and generous. I was even able to rent a bicycle to get around. It is not far from City Center. I highly recommend this place. Thank you Mr. Primprey! This is a small paradise on earth run by honest, hard-working and kind people who truly care about you as a guest. They built the traditional Khmer guesthouse themselves with bamboo. It is surrounded by a tropical garden and has everything you need for a pleasant stay: a mosquito net, sockets in each corner (including next to the kingsize bed), multiple electric fans, a brand-new bathroom with a shower that produces hot water immediately (which is rare in Cambodia), and toiletries such as shampoo, shower gel, toothpaste, and toothbrushes. Furthermore, the WIFI was super fast! The host picks you up at a location of your choice and when you leave, he can take you to your preferred location. During my stay, he suggested an incredible restaurant that was surprisingly cheap for the quality of food, drove me there and picked me up. The highlight of my stay was the tour that the host offered. We drove to local villages that are rarely visited by tourists and took a ride on the famous bamboo train. It was an authentic and unforgettable experience. In short, I highly recommend Odambang Village Homestay. By staying here, you support a local family and you will create unforgettable memories that will last a lifetime.

Located 1.7 km from Colonial Buildings, Bun Homestay offers accommodation with a terrace. Amazing homestay! Bun and his family are so welcoming and our room was so spacious and clean! The breakfast each morning was amazing and there is also coffee/tea facility in the room and a kitchen facility guests can use. We booked a tuk tuk tour with Bun’s colleague which was brilliant. Our driver was so kind and friendly. Bun even invited us to join him and his friends for a few beers on our last night.

Pisey and Phirum were so helpful! They made me feel at home and looked out for me like I was their own. For a solo backpacker, this was an amazing stopover for two nights. The children were adorable, and it was a beautiful insight into the life in the Cambodian country side.
