ペンション桜家 features air-conditioned guest accommodation in Shimoda, 600 metres from Shirahama Ohama Beach, 1.7 km from Shirahama Chuo Beach and 3 km from Sotoura Beach. The owner is incredibly friendly. The view is stunning. We enjoyed a bath each night in the bathhouse. A short walk to an incredible beach.

The beach was just a short walk away, and there was a nearby restaurant serving excellent food—definitely a highlight of my trip. The landlord was incredibly kind and accommodating, even driving me to the train station after my stay. I highly recommend this spot for anyone looking for a relaxing and genuine experience.

Hostel Knot er staðsett í Shuzenji Onsen-hverfinu í Izu, nálægt Shuzen-ji-hofinu og býður upp á sameiginlega setustofu og þvottavél. Cleanest hostel I’ve ever been in, convenient location, and reasonably priced. But what really blew me away was the service. Hey-san was incredibly helpful with recommendations and reservations nearby. He even helped with our laundry while we were out and about. Our whole group loved staying here.

JOYinn er staðsett í Izu Kogen og býður upp á ókeypis WiFi hvarvetna á gististaðnum. Boðið er upp á ókeypis skutluþjónustu til og frá Izu-Kogen-stöðinni. This was beyond expectation, the owner speaks perfect English and picked us up at the station, we were greeted by two lovely dogs in the house and enjoyed fantastic sea view from our room! Will def come back if we’re visiting Ito again!

Daisuke San and Daruma the CEO were wonderful hosts! All of the staff was very helpful and gave us so many suggestions for where to go and how to get there. The location was very close to the train, and the home itself was spacious and clean.

J-Garden er með tennisvöll, garð og einkavarmabað, í 11 mínútna göngufjarlægð frá Tomito-höfninni. Gististaðurinn er með kaffihús og heitan pott og herbergin eru með heitt vatn á baðherberginu. Amazing location on Jogasaki coast and still not that far from the station. The room was bigger than expected (separate living and sleeping room) and we didn't miss anything. The owners were so nice; the property was built by the husband after he looked into many of Gaudi's work and you can feel the catalanese touch in everything he crafted. The natural hot spring was superb as well as the "dragon" jacuzzi. Enjoying the sunset from the top terrace came only second to watching the stars at night.

Beach Side Inn Shirahama er staðsett í aðeins 2 mínútna göngufjarlægð frá Shirahama-ströndinni í Shimoda. Það er með notaleg gistirými með hlýjum viðargólfum og innréttingum. Very close to the beach, simple but very testy breakfast. Great place for surfing, you can rent a boat here. Great nice onsen.

I came by bicycle from Tokyo, and owner kindly allowed to store it inside by the counter. Overall place is very clean, NO insects were spotted inside at all. And let not the absence of toilet/shower in the room turn you away - there is a wash basin inside the room, with dryer and all things needed; and plenty of toilets just near your room, everything very clean and equipped with latest tech washlet toilets. And the best part: private hot spring (onsen), where you could chill alone. And price for a stay was very affordable. Top rating from me.
