Set in Ishigaki Island, near Painuhama Artificial Beach, Yaeyama Museum and Nantominzoku Museum, ゲストハウス喜舎場 features a shared lounge. It’s the best guesthouse that I have been to in Okinawa (out of 4). First things first, Kishaba, the owner, is so nice and informative. The facility is amazing, from the large beds to the well equipped kitchen and the nice living room. 5 minutes walk from everything you’ll need. I will surely come back.

Located just 1.5 km from Sesoko Beach, Sesoko Blue offers accommodation in Sesoko with access to free bikes, a garden, as well as a shared kitchen. Everything was so nice. The owners were really friendly and accommodating. The whole place was clean and beautiful!! The kitchen is nice and the bathrooms are perfect. Also, when I stayed there, every one had dinner together so you will meet more friends. The people were really friendly and it felt like home. 10/10 ❤️

Featuring quiet street views, Travelers House おーさんてぃん青空舎 features accommodation with terrace, around 1.2 km from Naarasa Beach. It is located 1.2 km from Kondoi Beach and offers luggage storage space.... I really enjoyed my stay with Travelers House. Hosts are kind and provide quality breakfast and welcoming drinks. Even got a foot bath with beautiful flowers. The room is charming and one can hear great jazz or classical music during breakfast time. Like staying in a liitle museum with plants, collector stamps and book on Hygge.

ゲストハウス石垣 is situated in Ishigaki Island and features a shared lounge. Guests can make use of a garden. Rooms are fitted with a shared bathroom. Ishigaki Island is 1.2 km from the hostel. One of the owners, Andy is also an instructor of snorkelling, and I had so much fun in the sea. Strongly recommend!

Offering city views, Guesthome Machiya Koza is an accommodation set in Okinawa City, 8.2 km from Nakagusuku Castle and 8.7 km from Katsuren Castle. It was very easy to get to from the airport. It was much better than I would've guessed. The host was super nice, and the dog and the cats were super cute. I loved my stay and highly recommend it. A convenience store is very conveniently located close-by. Sightseeing always requires riding the bus since sights do tend to be further away - but that goes for everywhere in the City.

Featuring a garden, terrace and views of garden, Guesthouse Koa is located in Miyako Island, 700 metres from Sunayama Beach. This 2-star guest house offers a shared kitchen and luggage storage space. The guesthouse is very well maintained, so clean. The common kitchen is indeed the kitchen of the owner, so tou have everything you need to cook. The owner is doing an excellent coffee everyday that he is offering. His passion for coffee is shared with the guests. The staff is so nice and helpful. You feel really welcome. Traveling since 6 months, this stay stands apart, a so nice atmosphere. Rhey also organise activities such as snorkling which were just fantastic

Featuring a balcony with sea views, a rooftop pool and free bikes, Stäy Hotel can be found in Nago, close to Sumuide Beach and 1.1 km from Airakuen Beach. It was amazing hotel The view left me speechless, and the staff were amazing—they took care of every little detail I asked for. I’ll definitely choose this hotel again next time.

Situated in Iriomote, Shimaotoya is situated offers private and dormitory rooms. Free shuttle service is available from Nakama (Ohara) Port, a 5-minute drive away. All rooms feature air conditioning. The hostel owner was so kind and helpful with our trip to Iriomote. She went above and beyond by picking us up from the ferry port and helping with recommendations. The room is simple, island accommodation but the shared common room is very nice with instruments and books. Kitchen was nice to use to make some food if we wanted. Extra fuzzy blankets free to use if you got cold in the night. Check out the stars at night! Also, FREE bike rental. What more could you want? Definitely check out the Co-op store down the street; delicious fresh food after 11am try the taco rice!!! We really loved Iriomote it was so peaceful and special. Our favorite island. Do visit and this hostel will serve you right!!
