Guesthouse boro-ya is located in Toyonaga. The property has barbecue facilities, as well as a garden. Guests can enjoy mountain views. At the guest house, each room has a terrace. Yancy was incredibly friendly and helpful! Kids loved the chicken coop, yuzu tree, and fire pit. There were a lot of cute touches around the house! It was the perfect mountain escape for our family!

Situated in Shimanto-cho, EkimaehouseSamaru is a recently renovated accommodation, 13 km from Kaiyodo Hobby Museum Shimanto and 24 km from Monjudo Temple. The guesthouse and the neighborhood are amazing. The owner is one of the nicest and warmest people I have met. The bed was even nicer than that of a much more expensive ryokan. The train ride to the guesthouse was scenic, the location of the accommodation is perfect, the eateries nearby are all good. The place itself was spotless with a really nice shower room. Everything was perfect. I can't recommend it enough.

Situated in Konan in the Kochi region, Guesthouse Suisennosato features a garden. Absolutely brilliant, the host was very friendly and really helped us out with our needs, she was also good fun! The facilities were great, rooms big and comfortable, you even get pajamas! Breakfast was also good , overall a great experience and the best value for money I have had in japan.

Located a 12-minute walk or a 3-minute bus ride from JR Kochi Station north exit, Katsuo Guest House offers Japanese-style dormitory rooms with air conditioning. Maki was so friendly, welcoming and helpful! She recommended local restaurants for dinner, and invited me to join the tacoyaki party they were having that evening. The 8 bed dorm was lovely- gorgeous wood beds and cool decor. The beds were comfy and private. I was lucky since there were only 4 of us in the room, but I think it would be spacious enough even if it were full. Definitely the nicest guesthouse I’ve stayed at in Japan.

Located in Mimase and only 30 km from Daizen-ji Temple, guesthouse ONAKA provides accommodation with garden views, free WiFi and free private parking. The room is big, good for family of four. The whole property is clean and tidy, well equipped. A very good stay.

Situated just 10 km from Enkoji Temple, ゲストハウスみんちゅう features accommodation in Sukumo with access to a garden, a shared lounge, as well as a shared kitchen. Best place to stay during my trip in Shikoku! Friendly and super helpful hosts, clean house, good food, quiet room, onsen nearby. Hope i can visit again one day!

Featuring mountain views, Washi Studio Kamikoya provides accommodation with a garden and a terrace, around 35 km from Odo Dam Museum. We brought the groceries for dinner up from the supermarket in Yusuhara and prepared it in the guesthouse. There are no shops nearby - best to prepare in advance and make sure you have what you need. A delicious breakfast was provided and waiting for us in the fridge when we got up in the morning. We prepared the eggs and enjoyed everything with the fresh-baked bread.

Located in the mountains surrounded by nature, Guesthouse En is located in Ochi at an elevation od 400 metres. The property features a garden and offers luggage storage space. Takao and Shie’s guesthouse is perfectly equipped for a self-catering stay in a remote rural area about an hour from Kochi city. They are wonderful friendly hosts and the accommodation is lovely. The toilets and bathroom are outside but are very clean and comfortable. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would recommend it for anyone wanting to disconnect from the city vibe and just relax for a few days. Thank you Takao and Shie and good luck for October :-)

Situated within 24 km of Daizen-ji Temple and 24 km of Nishihama Park, Haruno Guesthouse provides rooms with air conditioning and a shared bathroom in Tosa. Very friendly host, nice room and a great shared living room, where I spent a nice evening with fellow travelers.
