I loved the hospitality that I received there. The owner of the lodging went above and beyond in making sure that I was comfortable and provided for. Today I left early for my pilgrim walk and did not have breakfast. The lady sent me a message and brought me the food and additional lunch 30 km away. She just did it out of the kindness of her heart. She did not need to do that, but she did. It was also raining yesterday and I did not want to leave the room. she brought me lunch on her own initiative. She is smiley and helpful and kind and the place is super clean and comfortable. I would definitely stay there again and highly recommend this accommodation for anybody.

Guesthouse En was our favourite place we stayed on our 3 week stay in Japan. The owners are lovely and make you feel welcomed immediately. The view is incredible and the traditional japanese bath experience was amazing. The futons were comfortable and the room was warm. Loved it!

Maki was so friendly, welcoming and helpful! She recommended local restaurants for dinner, and invited me to join the tacoyaki party they were having that evening. The 8 bed dorm was lovely- gorgeous wood beds and cool decor. The beds were comfy and private. I was lucky since there were only 4 of us in the room, but I think it would be spacious enough even if it were full. Definitely the nicest guesthouse I’ve stayed at in Japan.

Situated just 10 km from Enkoji Temple, ゲストハウスみんちゅう features accommodation in Sukumo with access to a garden, a shared lounge, as well as a shared kitchen. Best place to stay during my trip in Shikoku! Friendly and super helpful hosts, clean house, good food, quiet room, onsen nearby. Hope i can visit again one day!

Washi Studio Kamikoya er með fjallaútsýni og býður upp á gistingu með garði og verönd, í um 35 km fjarlægð frá Odo Dam-safninu. the retreat in the mountain coupled with the amazing hospitality by the family made us felt like visiting old friends. the Japanese paper making workshop is highly recommended. you buy your own food in town (owner will tell u where to get the best beef and the location of the supermarket), then you can do bbq or hot pot or whatever you fancy. very authentic experience in the mountains. highly recommended

ゲストハウスよろずや is situated in Nahari and offers free bikes, a garden and a shared lounge. This homestay features free private parking, a shared kitchen and free WiFi. The owner is incredibly kind! And the beds were soo comfy, we rested very well here.

Haruno Guesthouse er staðsett í Tosa, í innan við 24 km fjarlægð frá Daizen-ji-hofinu og Nishihama-garðinum og býður upp á herbergi með loftkælingu og sameiginlegu baðherbergi. This is a great, affordable place to stop along the shikoku pilgrimage route. I stayed 2 nights. The nights before and after temple 35, walking without a bag for that day was so nice and gave my legs a mild break with plenty of time to do laundry, clean, and reorganize my gear. Since it's so affordable it makes a great place for a rest day. Walking distance to a great grocery store and conbinis.
