Sparky’s House is situated in a very quiet part but yet really conveniently located. The staff is really helpful & knowledgeable. The breakfast included with our stay was served at Sparky’s Cafe, just 4 minutes walk away. Great fruit, yoghurt, eggs & bread with coffee and capuccino to die for.

It was perfect, I wish we stayed for longer. The location was perfect super close to the port and everything else. It was spacious and had every amenity needed!

We had the best experience possible of checking in quite late after a long day and with a busy schedule ahead of us. Takeshi is very welcoming and in perfect English helped us out with our itinerary on visiting Naoshima & Teshima as well as providing tips for other must-see places in the area (as we were there to visit some architectural highlights), with some really cool less touristy options that are not often mentioned in other guidebooks. All in all a very relaxing experience even though we had a full itinerary during our travel through Japan!

The host drove us to our destinations in the beginning of the day and picked us up from the nearby train station at the end of the day even at 10:30pm at no extra charge. The hotel was really clean with a great bath and bathroom.

5.5 km from Cycad at Seiganji Temple, HATN HAT Guesthouse ハッツンハット is a recently renovated property set in Shodoshima and offers air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi and parking on-site. This room did such a good job optimizing space and had a really lovely view. It was also close to multiple convenience stores, restaurants, and things to do, nearby. Excellent cost performance as well.

Offering a garden and quiet street view, 一軒家貸切プライベートホテルotonarisan-駐車場無料 is located in Takamatsu, 800 metres from Isamu Noguchi Garden Museum and less than 1 km from Yakurishion Christ Church. Beautiful, comfortable home which was a very short walk to Noguchi Museum in the nicest neighborhood. Close to a ton of great restaurants but very quiet and peaceful. We wished we lived here!

Wonderful revival of the old bath house as a cafe and the former owner's residence as a guesthouse in the historical street of Tadotsu. We enjoyed the stylish place and the new onsen-style bathroom with a ceramic tub. Comfortable beds and complete privacy at the guesthouse.
