From the moment I walked through the door, the service was impeccable. The staff was not only friendly but genuinely eager to ensure my comfort throughout my stay. The room was spacious, impeccably clean, and beautifully decorated with modern touches that made it feel like a true retreat. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and I had one of the best night’s sleep I’ve had in a long time. The amenities were top-notch, and I appreciated the attention to detail — everything from the high-quality toiletries to the luxurious linens. Breakfast was amazing, offering a wide variety of options, and everything was delicious. The location of the hotel is ideal, with easy access to key attractions and shops. It’s perfect for both leisure and business travelers. I can’t say enough about the level of service at the Castle. The staff went above and beyond to accommodate all my requests, and they made me feel right at home. The attention to detail, comfort, and overall experience made my stay truly unforgettable. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area and look forward to staying here again in the future!

A recently renovated guest house set in Birkimelur, Strönd Guesthouse features barbecue facilities. This beachfront property offers access to a terrace, free private parking and free WiFi. Our room was exceptionally clean, comfortable, modern & well maintained. Lovely products with shampoo (& conditioner👌). The housekeeper was lovely & very good at her job, we’re big coffee drinkers & she happily accommodated us. We were never cold thanks to the underfloor heating. Shared kitchen was spotless with everything you would require & a dishwasher for guests. Washing machine & dryer facilities free for guests which was a big bonus for us! We also saw the northern lights right outside our room! Cannot recommend Strönd enough we honestly loved our stay, thank you!!

This guest house provides free private parking, a 24-hour front desk and free WiFi. simple but completely clean studio apartment with plenty of space for two people. It was warm and had a kitchen that was perfectly adequate to cook a meal. The bathroom was modern with a generously sized shower. There were two bathrobes as well as towels. It was quiet and with parking right outside. The house is up the hill from the harbour and it was a bit cold (snow everywhere) to walk to the hot pools on the shore so we took the car, but I would estimate a 10 min walk in summer.

The location was picturesque and check in was simple. Our room had its own private bathroom and it was clean with good water pressure. The heated towel rack was a bonus! The breakfast was outstanding and definitely worth the additional charge.

We love the architecture, warm service from Knutur, breakfast, tranquility and so much more. We'll definitely be coming back to Iceland and stay longer in Drangar.

The is the best place I have experienced. The house is very clean, very comfortable. The view outside the room is very beautiful. Can park your car in the front of the house. Close to the town. There are many little sweet things in the house. Like extra warmer for the third bed that is not so closed to the heater. Many hangers in the room and toilet and shower room. The room smells very good. The living room is very comfortable and can use blanket if you feel cold. Kitchen is very clean and have some free food or powder can use. We really enjoyed the time living here. The host is very nice. We really appreciate for staying in such a beautiful place:）

Located 6 km from Stykkishólmur, Helgafell provides a garden and free WiFi. All rooms feature a flat-screen TV with cable channels and a private bathroom. It was a nice little cottage which is located at a lake and the Helgafell. We had everything we need in the cottage.
