The rooms were both very clean and smelled fresh. The shared bathroom was also extremely clean. Since one of the rooms we booked had a private bathroom, the whole family showered there (great water pressure; very hot water too!), however, the shared bathroom seemed to be very clean too. There was a hot tub outside for guests to enjoy, and the property is next to a beach where you can spot birds.

Hótel is small but all facilities are quite new and modern. The shared kitchen has new kitchenware and very convenient compared to other hotels that shared kitchen provided very old and not so clean kitchenware. It is located in remote area so it is quite peaceful and beautiful scenic view. We are happy there is very good warm pool nearby. The pool is cozy and not crowded at all.

Located in Patreksfjörður, in a historic building, 23 km from Pollurinn, Pálshús is a guest house with a garden and shared lounge. I found the decor very pleasing. Cosy yet fresh. The facilities were good eg dishwasher, nice seating areas, dining area. There was a lovely balcony.

Situated 37 km from Stykkishólmur, Drangar Country Guesthouse is located on the Snæfellsnes Peninsula and features a shared lounge. The most beautiful place we have stayed from all of our 5 trips in Iceland. The buildings are brilliantly built, with a unique design, very nicely decorated, which goes beautifully with the surrounding nature. The road to go there is probably one of the most scenic road on the peninsula (VERY easy gravel road). The host couple are very friendly, helpful and we’ve had excellent conversation with them. On the night of our stay we’ve had a walk on their coastline, which is absolutely stunning. The breakfast is excellent, with some homemade products. If you have the opportunity to sleep there, go right ahead.

The is the best place I have experienced. The house is very clean, very comfortable. The view outside the room is very beautiful. Can park your car in the front of the house. Close to the town. There are many little sweet things in the house. Like extra warmer for the third bed that is not so closed to the heater. Many hangers in the room and toilet and shower room. The room smells very good. The living room is very comfortable and can use blanket if you feel cold. Kitchen is very clean and have some free food or powder can use. We really enjoyed the time living here. The host is very nice. We really appreciate for staying in such a beautiful place:）
