Lovely waffles for breakfast, clean room with everything you need. We got dinner from a food truck in Hella but also had great kitchen facilities if you want to cook your own.

Lækjaborgir Guesthouse is located in Kálfafell, 26 km east of Kirkjubæjarklaustur. Free WiFi is offered throughout the property and free private parking is available on site. Lovely little tiny houses. We enjoyed it really to cook for ourselves and have a little midnight walk afterwards.

The observatory on the last floor is amazing for admiring sunsets, sunrises and northern lights while being a warm and cosy. I'd definitely recommend this place !
