Providing inner courtyard views, Brimslóð Atelier Guesthouse in Blönduós provides accommodation, a garden and a shared lounge. It was so close to the ocean and the owners were wonderful people. They gave us tips on what to see up north in Iceland.

The family-run Vogafjos Guesthouse is set in a unique natural environment on the eastern shore of Lake Myvatn. It offers rooms with a patio and free Wi-Fi. Very nice and cosy room for a family of 3. The cows were a big hit with our toddler, petting and feeding them. The resort has a great restaurant and the cows are milked right next to you at the other side of a glass wall during dinner and breakfast.

Located in Varmahlid in the North Iceland region, Glaumbær III provides accommodation with free private parking. The guest house features mountain views and a terrace. The room is perfect, very comfortable, clean and warm. The host is very friendly, we comment about the aurora and whenn it was starting, she switch off all lights on the house. We will repeat to stay here on the comeback.

Located in Litli-Árskógssandur, within 35 km of Hof - Cultural Center and Conference Hall, Waterfront Fjord House is an accommodation offering sea views. One of the best in our trip! What a view from big windows :)

Tjörn is a recently renovated guest house in Hvammstangi, where guests can make the most of its garden and shared lounge. The property features mountain and garden views. One of the best place, peaceful and cozy, far from civilization. Comfortable rooms. Lovely kitchen equipped with basic staff - tea, coffee , milk, salt, sugar, spices …. You may buy farmer eggs for your breakfast. Very kind owner.

Located in Sauðárkrókur, Helluland Guesthouse has a shared lounge. The property features river and garden views. There is a sun terrace and guests can make use of free WiFi and free private parking. very cute guesthouse with well equipped kitchen, perfect location and easy check-in process via code.

Located in Blönduós, Brekkukot Cottages, Blönduós provides accommodation with seating area. There is a private entrance at the homestay for the convenience of those who stay. Everything was perfect. The view and the quietness were amazing. The house was extremely clean and was very comfortable.

Frostastaðir guesthouse is situated 12 km from Varmahlid by road 76, and features barbecue facilities, garden and terrace. Free WiFi is included. Such a cute and cozy little spot! Beautiful location and really friendly owners. There’s sheep and horses too!

Set in Sauðárkrókur, Karuna Guesthouse offers accommodation with a sauna and a hot tub. The property has mountain and garden views. Perfect, quiet and beautiful location. The room was much nicer than we expected! the pictures in Bookings are not as good as the reality! very quiet we slept like babies! Good shower, coffee and tea provided in the room for free. View fantastic, birds singing 💕 hot tub incredible, we love this place! perfect for couples!

Located within 2.6 km of Myvatn Nature Baths, Birkilauf in Myvatn has a number of amenities, including lake and mountain views. We had a great stay in Birkilauf. Our room was very spacious and had its own bathroom as well as an private entrace to the huge terrace. The common area has a living / dining room and probably the best kitchen we have seen in a guesthouse so far. You can probably cook (or bake) everything here - also the equipment was quite modern. You will also find eggs, milk, joghurt, cheese, butter, jam, cereals ... as well as tea and coffee to create your own breakfast. The terrace also offers a bbq. Our host was extremly friendly and gave us a warm welcome. Also he made home-made bread and cakes for everybody to share. The location is a little bit (but easy to reach and find) and we had the chance to see the northern lights from the terrace.
