Weather was terrible the night I stayed, but didn't hear or feel a thing; was able to sit in the comfort and warm and watch it snowing outside in a gale. Cozy, and a great feeling. Super clean, well designed, easy to check in / out and I would definitely stay again.

The shared spaces (common room, kitchen and bathrooms) were really good and well furnished. Every was clean and comfortable. We especially loved the hot tub with the view on the mountains. We could cook our own meal.

Located within 2.6 km of Myvatn Nature Baths, Birkilauf in Myvatn has a number of amenities, including lake and mountain views. We loved this place. It was warm, clean, and very comfortable, the perfect place to come home to after a day of exploring the area of Myvatn. The host made us feel very welcome. We very much enjoyed the well-equiped kitchen. A nice surprise was that our host made freshly baked banana bread. We really felt home here and would definitely recommend this place to other travellers!
