Eric the Red is a perfectly located Guest House in Reykjavik just 60m/200ft from Hallgrímskirkja Church which is the biggest church and single most central point in Reykjavik, we are in short walking distance from all the best Reykjavik has to offer, whether it’s Museums, Restaurants, Cafés, Bars, Shopping Streets, Parks, the BSi bus station, Geothermal Swimming pools or Lake Tjörnin, and yet positioned in a quiet area of the center. The staff were phenomenal. Very friendly and accommodating. Location is fantastic and it’s a beautiful guest house that was exceptionally clean.

Easy self check-in and check-out. Convenient parking on the street. The owner is very nice and helpful replied to all my questions promtly.

There was a problem with our wifi and the staff (he was Asian , maybe from Thailand or Vietnam) was extremely helpful and courteous THANK YOU SO MUCH once again !!

Brilliant use of a small space with lots of smart ideas. Particularly impressed by the wall coffee/tea/kitchenette station and the storage under the bed. Bed was very comfortable, not much motion transfer from person sleeping next to me.
