Atmosphere and Activities: Gibran's homestay has the best atmosphere among all the places we visited in Raja Ampat. They make sure everyone is happy with their stay, and every meal is an occasion for chatting with the other guests. There is a different activity (e.g., snorkeling tour) every day, and the plan is flexible to accommodate guests' needs. Diving can also be easily arranged with other homestays on Kri. Rooms and Common Spaces: The bungalow is basic but clean, the bed is comfortable with fresh sheets, and the large hammock on the deck is definitely the best we’ve had in RA—relaxing there is just amazing. The shared bathrooms are clean, and the shower is very powerful. The food is always different and tasty (more than in other places). Location: Kri's south bay is wonderful. From your room, you have an incredible view, with easy access to the sea and the reef. You can swim to the reef, and during low tide, use one of the nearby jetties. The long, white sandy beach is worth a walk as well (you can see the beach from your room). The house reef is beautiful, and the current is less strong than in other areas, which makes snorkeling very enjoyable.

We had 24 hour power and water. Rooms had mosquito nets. No rats. Faucets everywhere to rinse off the feet. Amazing coral reef and of course the staff..

Located in Besir in the West Papua region, Avinsea Homestay features a terrace and sea views. Guests staying at this homestay have access to a balcony. все I can say only the best about this home stay. We have stayed in the different places on Raja ampat, so we can compare with others. The Avinsea is the best. The homes are always clean and comfortable. Janis, owner this home stay is very attentive and capable man. He is macho. He wanted make for us all our desires. He showed us all interested places with the boat. The prices were acceptable. My husband likes fishing. Janis tried to do the best for him. My husband fell in love with Janis. Home stay is situated in that area where you do the best snorkeling and sea many fish, dauphins and even whales. All the best of this area we saw exactly here. All family is very kind and attentive: his wife Karson, his son Jose (he was taking us to mountains), his nieces Desi and Karoline ( they cooked delicious food). In the evenings they sung for all their tourists their songs. It was so touching. We fell in love this family. We advised to Janis to write in booking.com “all included” not only breakfast, because we were fed 4 times a day although on the internet on their page indicated only breakfast. If we have another chance to get there we would stay exactly in Avinsea. Lena and Andrew

The best homestay we’ve ever stayed at! We were absolutely delighted with this homestay. Everything is done with so much care and attention—the space is incredibly clean, well-maintained, and welcoming. The food is simply amazing, prepared with dedication and full of flavor. The family running the homestay is incredibly friendly. Although they don’t speak English, they use translation apps to communicate, and if their nephew is on vacation, it’s very easy to communicate in English. Tomás, who manages the homestay, is fantastic! He made sure to take us to all the places we wanted to visit and even offered us a boat tour around the area on our last day—a wonderful gesture! The bungalow is simple but cozy, equipped with a large fan and a mosquito net, ensuring a comfortable and restful stay. The location couldn’t be better, with sea views on both sides of the island and breathtaking sunsets that are truly magical. The homestay is completely isolated, offering the perfect environment for tranquility and relaxation, despite being very well located close to key spots. Speaking of location, must-visit spots like Pyanemo, Tugas Island, and Melissa Garden are just 5-10 minutes away by boat. The only downside is the lack of network coverage at the homestay, so it’s important to plan all your activities and dives in advance if they’re not directly arranged with the homestay. The bathroom is simple but super clean. The shower is traditional, using a bucket, but it’s surprisingly pleasant. If you’re looking for diving experiences, we highly recommend Pam’s Divers. They are slightly farther away, but they are extremely professional and friendly, making the experience even better. An unforgettable experience—we highly recommend it!

Just ocean in front of the room. The family was super nice and food was very tasty. They made a birthday party for me and we had great fun together!

Situated on the beachfront in Waisai, Coco Huts Guest House has a private beach area. The property features sea and mountain views. This is a ocean front property with sunset views! The best is large and comfy. The family are absolutely lovely and will do anything to help you! The food is delicious and so fresh. We did a snorkelling trip with the family to an incredible reef and sand bar. Highly recommend!

Situated in Saonek, within 1.3 km of Waisai Torang Cinta Beach, Raja Ampat Sandy Guesthouse offers accommodation with air conditioning. The homestay owner contactes us prior to our arrival to check if we were finding our way (they also offered a taxi pick-up at the harbour) and welcomed us with open arms. The homestay has a nice small garden where we had breakfast. The owners also helped us to arrange our taxi next morning

Situated in Fam in the West Papua region, Meos Ambower Homestay Raja Ampat has a balcony. This pet-friendly homestay also has free WiFi. Very nice location. In front of haus is a sea garden with colourfull corals, fishes and even sharks. Beautiful place worth to visit again if the world wouldn’t be so big and my wish list wouldn’t be so full.

Frances Homestay - Raja Ampat is located in Pulau Mansuar. This beachfront property offers access to a terrace. Towels and bed linen are provided in the homestay. The property offers sea views. The place is extraordinary. The house reef is very beautiful with many fish and corals in excellent condition. All the staff was very nice. I especially want to thank all the staff for the attention received since I had a health problem and they were concerned about my health at all times.
