We got there late and they offered to ask there neighbors to cook us dinner. We had a late flight on our day of departure and Rio the son drove us around for a hike and a few hours at the beach before he dropped us off at the airport. Such great people, I would highly recommend this place to anyone visiting the area.

Ephy, his wife Wiwin and brother Hanes were so kind, helpful and could not do enough for us. All communication was excellent before and during our trip and they really care about their guests. There are three rooms each with their own entrance and patio area leading out to a gorgeous garden with bonsai trees. Our room was so spacious and spotlessly clean with a lovely hot shower bliss ! It was very quiet and peaceful. A wonderful breakfast is provided which changes daily and Ephy and Hanes can take you where you want to go on the back of their bikes or can rent you a bike for a very low price. They can also help with airport pick up/drop off at a fraction of the cost and any tour you want to go on. Don’t hesitate just book it ! Simply beautiful place! all the family is really helpful, welcoming and smiling all the time ! Amazing personalities and energy which makes you feel like you are in the right place !!! Our house was amazing- comfortable bed with mosquito net, flower in the room… everything clean and incredibly decorated (even keychain!). on the front, small patio with floor mat and pillows - perfect place for nap or meditation;) The garden is the source of all what’s important, so fresh air, green scenery, food and medicine. if it comes to food-WOW !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! <3

You can do a sunrise hike through the rice terraces with Jeff the owner and dinner (optional extra) is a shared affair wearing traditional sarongs and shared with other guests. Very friendly and welcoming. Jeff went out of his way to drive us to Labuan Bajo after our stay.

Super clean and the shower has good hot water. I didn’t take the breakfast but there was hot water available to make our coffee or tea. Mari the host was super polite and kind, she ensured that everything was going well. Mita the staff was so friendly and cheerful, making me feeling at home as soon as I arrived. I slept really well and too bad I only stayed here one night. If I ever come to Ruteng, I will def stay in this homestay.
