What an incredible experience with a *real* homestay. Magdalena and Hironymous and their children welcomed me into their home with open arms. I participated in their nightly prayer circle before dinner and a thoughtful conversation about the different ways of service in life. Magdalena speaks good English and understands even better. We were served a very filling local meal and ate with the family then shared stories of our lives after dinner. The room and bathroom were very clean and met my needs perfectly. The gardens around the home are very beautiful and well cared for. I highly recommend for a true experience with an Indonesian family!

Guest House d Valeri is set in Labuan Bajo. This property offers access to a terrace, free private parking and free WiFi. Best accomodation in Labuan Bajo. Valerie and her family are very kind and super helpful. The room was really clean, minimal, modern and very comfortable. I couldn't ask for more, when it comes to accommodation, excellent, highly recommend!!

Located in Kelimutu in the East Nusa Tenggara region, Rago's Homestay features a terrace and mountain views. There is an on-site restaurant, plus free private parking and free WiFi are available. We had a wonderful time at Rago's homestay. Johanes (Jon) is a great host. He likes talking to his guests and he smiles and laughs a lot. He speaks good English and is prompt in responding to questions. We also hired him to take us around. The homestay has three rooms and Jon is currently building four more units. We stayed at other homestays before and we can say without a doubt that this is one of the nicer homestays out there. The room is clean and the bed is comfortable. It has the all important hot shower. The enclosed semi outdoor bathroom with plants is a nice touch. No air-conditioning is needed as Moni is up in the mountains. We got under the sheets and it was cozy. They prepared pancakes with honey and fruits for breakfast and a delicious dinner. If you want a comfortable stay at a reasonable price, disconnect a little from the outside world and be around friendly people, then look no further than Rago's homestay.

The location is easy to find, near some shops, a bank, some restaurants and a local market. The room was very nice, clean, spacious and comfy that my friends and I extended our 1-night booking for 2 more nights because our stay was really enjoyable. They provided breakfast, unlimited coffee and tea, laundry service as well as transportation to go to the beach and the local tourism nearby. The owner is also very accommodating and responsive, there was an earthquake while we were staying and he checked on us immediately after that. Thankfully all of us were fine and the earthquake didn’t affect anything.
