Because of traffic conditions we arrived very very late, but nevertheless we checked in immediately. The place is new, clean, organised, beautiful. The room was clean with everything you'd need during your visit.

Sziget Vendégház ligger i Szigliget, 30 km fra Sümeg Slot, 44 km fra Tihany Kloster samt 3,5 km fra Szigliget Slot og Museum. Great location, good accommodations, clean, easy access. Each room has 2 beds, its own bathroom and its own refrigerator; a little bit like in a hotel/motel room, and it can be locked. The rooms open to a breakfast area and kitchen that has the basics; a cooktop with two burners (no oven), dishes, pans, utensils, microwave, coffee pot, etc. We rented 3 of the 4 rooms, and the 4th room was not occupied, but I assume it could have been rented out for somebody else who we don't know. So, even though it's a house with 4 rooms, the set-up is a little bit like a hotel, each room is self-contained with its own fridge. We loved it! Great for a couple of days of vacation! The host was very friendly and very pleasant. Walking distance from the beach and local store. Great view! Beautiful location. We'll probably try to rent it again next year when we come back. Highly recommended!

It was very nice. The host was lovely. She prepared for me a jacuzzi and shared a glass of wine. The grounds are pleasant and well-maintained and I saw other guests relaxing on the grass. The rooms were clean and well-appointed. They had air conditioning which was helpful. It was a nice apartment and I enjoyed my stay. Note that this property (like pretty much everywhere else in this whole lake area) is near a railway and the walls are not that sound-proofed, but I didn’t mind and had a lovely sleep. Excellent facility in the middle of wineyards on the slope of Somlo mountain. Perfect place stay with friends and enjoy the weekend. Mr. Kolonics - both senior and junior are fantastic hosts. We enjoyed great dinner and wine tasting from their own winery. The rooms are clean and spacious enough, beds comfortable. Very good breakfast! The whole setup is very convinient - there is a big room for breakfast, dinner or just drinking wine with friends. Thank you for everything!

Francis and his wife are amazing hosts who can surely transmit his enthusiasm to the guests. They are very friendly and pleasant people with a warm and welcoming heart. The accomodation is perfect. Taken care of in all details, clean and tidy and with a nice confortable bed. Amazing breakfast. The garden is a poetry: with its colorful flowers and utensils here and there and not to talk about the amazing view on Lake Balaton. We asked some tips to Francis about places to visit and a restaurant (his family's owned place) and we definitely felt in good hands with his suggestions. Conclusion: do not hesitate to book and enjoy the stay at the guesthouse.
