Firstly, the staff were absolutely lovely — warm, friendly, and absolutely helpful! Then there's the hotel itself: perfectly situated in the town centre, within just a few minutes' walk to the main street, there was ready access to cafés, restaurants, shops, mini-markets, and the port. Spotless and great-looking throughout, we took the largest room on the second floor, and it was brilliant — bright, comfortable, a fantastic shower, a wardrobe for all of our clothes (extremely important, as we stayed there two weeks). We stayed in the two weeks of July to the first week of August 2023, right in the middle of a fiendish heatwave, but the room's air conditioner made sleeping very comfortable, and it was a quiet machine, to boot. Now, I'm saving the best for last ... the bed: we've never slept on such a comfortable hotel bed. Ever. This was The Bed of The Gods, a Cocomat one, and it was such a wonderful thing!

Featuring free WiFi, Stefanis House is located in Skiathos. It is 100 metres from the beach and 600 metres from the centre with restaurants and cafeterias. The view from the balcony ! We arrived at Skaithos at 10 am, and the lady let us in the room at that time! It was such a nice gesture! The room was clean and comfortable. We had a great stay at this lovely house!

Situated within 600 metres of Megali Ammos Beach and 800 metres of Skiathos Plakes Beach, Al Mar features rooms with air conditioning and a private bathroom in Skiathos Town. Great, quiet location still close enough to te center. Sufficiently spacious room (number 6). AC was working great. The bed was comfortable.

A recently renovated property, The Blue is located in Skiathos Town near Skiathos Plakes Beach, Megali Ammos Beach and Skiathos' Port. I had read it was a steep walk up with suitcases, and it was, but if you want to be on a hill overlooking the old port and the ocean, you’ll have to make the trek no matter where you stay since cars don’t have access. If you do have mobility issues then the hills wouldn’t be recommended in general. Other than that it felt perfect for my 16 year old daughter and I. I woke up every morning and watched the sunrise with my tea, and it was a few minutes walk down into town for breakfast and dinner, or to Bus Stop 0 or water taxis for day trips. It was about a 15 minute walk in the other direction to Megali Ammos beach. There’s a little fridge and kettle and coffee maker. The only thing we wished it had was a dresser so we could unpack. There’s a stand for hanging clothes and a few shelves, but drawers would be great for all your smaller clothes. Not a big deal though. We’ve loved it. Been here for a week and wish it was longer.
