We stayed in one of the Lochside Cabins which had the best view of the Loch and Ullapool. It is only a short walk to Ullapool where you find great seafood to eat.

Set in Edinburgh and only 1.9 km from University of Edinburgh, Dorstan House offers accommodation with quiet street views, free WiFi and free private parking. Atmosphere like you are home. Excellent communication with staff. Very nice and helpful host and great breakfast. Late check in.

Situated in the town of Pitlochry, Atholl Villa Guest House is a privately owned Victorian building, offering views of Ben Vrackie. What an absolutely SUPERB accomodation! This was our third visit to Pitlochry and as far as we're concerned, Atholl Villa tops anywhere we stayed previously. Excellent, attentive and helpful staff. Outstanding breakfasts, with host asking us to make our choice(s) the night prior. Lovely dining room downstairs. We were surprised how quiet it was, even though the accomodation is right on the "main drag" through town. A very well maintained, beautifully kept property. Easyyy walking distance to downtown area. We had tickets to see the Enchanted Forest one night and the walk to the bus pick up point was 10 minutes away. Blair Athol distillery 10-15 minute walk in the opposite direction. Laundry services nearby to catch up on travel washing. Our upstairs room was clean, well-appointed and nice view. For the most part, we felt good value for the money spent.

On the edge of Loch Lomond and a 30-minute drive from Glasgow and its airport, this 4-star guest house has hearty Scottish breakfasts and free Wi-Fi. Everything was amazing! Especial the owner Andrea,she is wonderful!! The breakfast was very good,so many options and very tasty. Very very highly recommended!!!

Just a few steps from Anstruther’s harbour and marina, with views over the Firth of Forth, The Waterfront offers 4-star bed and breakfast accommodation with free Wi-Fi. Everything and everyone was exceptional and all was very clean and lovely, the rooms where very nice and our floor was just our little group so that was nice too. The room was also very peacefull and very quiet. The bed was most comfy! The food in the restaurant (dinner and breakfast) where also super delicious and the restaurant staff delightful. Will come back asap! Thanks for a lovely stay!!!

Situated in Kirkmichael, Strathardle Lodge has a fully stocked honesty bar, guest lounge and free WiFi as well as in-house Cake School. Great location, excellent hosts, large room with very comfortable beds, wonderful breakfast! We loved the honesty bar set up! what a great idea!!

Lakeview Guest House is located on the seafront in Stranraer, 200 metres from Stranraer Beach. Both free WiFi and parking on-site are available at the guest house free of charge. The host, Elaine, was exceptional. Our room was at the back of the house and nice and quiet. Complimentary sips of whisky and chocolate helped us relax after a terrible travel day. Easy walking to city center and train station. Vegan breakfast was delicious.

The Claymore is an attractive Victorian residence with its own private drive with free parking and gardens, only 2 minutes walk from Pitlochry town centre. Wi-Fi is available throughout the property. Beautiful garden and clean house. The host was super friendly and accomodating. He gave great explanation of things to see in Pitlochry and gave us a map of the area. The breakfast was hearty and they had a variety of options. The location is easy to find.

Situated in Edinburgh, the recently renovated 4 Friends House features accommodation 1.3 km from Royal Yacht Britannia and 3.1 km from Edinburgh Waverley station. Great hotel, convenient location, bus stop and grocery store nearby. Very friendly staff, as soon as you cross the threshold, you feel like you are visiting close friends. Everything is clean, the room had everything you needed. I was pleased with the choice of tea, coffee and milk. If you had any comments or ideas on how to improve the service, there was a questionnaire on the table. But I didn't need it because everything was going very well for me.
