The lady who did our check-in was just fantastic and really nice to talk. The breakfast was excellent and well cooked. The room was clean like a 5-star hotel and the bed was just really soft and cozy. I think it was the best stay I've ever had in the UK.

Het Meadowcroft Country Guesthouse wordt door een familie beheerd en biedt uitzicht op schilderachtige heuvels. Het ligt in het rustige dorpje Ings, op 3,2 km van Windermere. The Guest House is very well decorated clean and fresh. Our bedroom was a good size very comfortable bed with a TV and tea and coffee facilities. Excellent shower is very powerful in a separate cubicle. There is a small lounge for guests to use with a fridge and microwave. Very nice dining room and breakfast was excellent with friendly accommodating staff. Looked a bit out of the way on the map but perfect location as a base for touring the lakes. Bus stop outside. Londis supermarket next door at the garage that stocks most things you might want including food and drinks. Five min walk to a lovely pub that had a good choice of drinks and great food menu. What we had was excellent. On site car park We were very pleased with our choice and happy to recommend.

The family-run Ambleside Townhouse is situated in Ambleside, 800 metres from Lake Windermere. It offers en suite rooms and a full English breakfast in the morning. Excellent location. Was able to purchase early parking and check in. The staff were helpful and welcoming. The hotel was clean, bright, modern and comfortable. The breakfast was excellent, fruit juices, fruit, yogurt, granola and cereals and a great selection of cooked breakfast choices.

The Westbourne is een prachtig pension in de rustige omgeving onder Biskey Howe in het Lake District. De slaapkamers zijn voorzien van een inloopdouche, luxe toiletartikelen en grote zachte... De locatie en de kamer, prima bed. En zeer hulpvaardige gastvrouw.

Jerichos is a contemporary family-run guest house with stylish decor situated on a quiet side street in the heart of Windermere village. There is free Wi-Fi and free ample private parking. Breakfast was excellent, a good variety to choose from.

Dit prachtige Victoriaanse huis ligt op een rustige locatie tussen Windermere en Bowness, op slechts 1,6 km van het meer Windermere. I loved our room with a bath in the room. When we came, it was a very rainy day, so that was a perfect way of relaxing after a long drive to the Lake District. Breakfast was great, fresh and good quality.

The Log House ligt in Ambleside, op 16 km van Lake Windermere en 29 km van Derwentwater, en biedt gratis WiFi in de hele accommodatie. Perfected place to stay, was so clean and amazing views! Only a 5 minute walk into the centre, was so lovely!
