We could not serve breakfast because of the early flight we had to catch and we woke up to a bag with sandwiches, fruit, juice and sweets at the door. ❤️ 10/10 would recommend.

Set 33 km from Loch Katrine and 47 km from Mugdock Country Park, Acorn House Callander offers accommodation in Callander. Free WiFi is available throughout the property and Lake of Menteith is 14 km away. Very warm welcome by the hosts. Everything was very clean, the bed was super comfortable and the room was very well equipped. The hosts gave us some information about the area, and there were information folders as well. The bathroom was shared with other guests, but very clean. The rooms were well isolated so you had a quiet room even when other guests were in. Would stay again!

Jody introduced us to our rooms with politeness and humour. We decompressed with a drink at the bar where Jody continued to be an excellent host. Then the locals arrived to bring us good cheer. We also enjoyed a fine meal delivered to us in the garden. The 2 rooms connected by the balcony was a bonus.
Lovely host and breakfast, bed was super comfy!
The property is a typical old fashion country pub .The staff made us feel at home. The food was very nice, you knew the food would be good. Because the restaurant was full every evening. We went into the bar area for drinks after dinner and the locals made us feel welcomed.

The view and location are absolutely stunning! Laura was a great host, so friendly and helpful and was very quick to help out with a small issue we had in the pod. The pod was cosy and had everything we needed including things like washing up liquid, cloths etc. There's plenty of space for kids to run about and they loved seeing all the animals that Laura keeps. The location is great for visiting all the sites in Stirling and the surrounding area. Our first time glamping and it won't be the last!
The staff were friendly and helpfull when asked. Location was ok for the town. Easy to find on the way into town. Nic see old style bar with friendly locals who are good for a laugh.
