My room was neat and clean I loved the breakfast she delivered to me every morning. The area was beautiful and the lodge was cute and cozy. Will return again with my father in August, love to introduce him to Louisa.

The property is beautiful! Helen was very accommodating to our schedule attending a wedding nearby. The bed was comfy, everything was exceptionally clean and we really enjoyed watching all the chickens roaming freely. This is a great place for a quiet and relaxing getaway!

Although I had to share the bathroom, the place felt so much like a home that I felt relaxed and comfortable with that. I highly recommend it for those who prefer something more personal than the experience of a hotel chain.

The accommodation was great. Even being a shared accommodation, we felt safe. The location was close to town, which made it easier and more affordable to get around by taxi. The owner had a cleaning service come regularly, which was great.

A short distance from downtown with great eateries, grocery stores, charity shops and a lovely park allow the river. The accomodation was very comfortable. The host was very attentive and helpful. It's 20-30mins from the airport and pretty much a straight shot to London (Hyde Park) by car. There are a few nice towns in area as well. It's about a 1.5 hr drive down to Brighton; also a pretty straight shot.

With picturesque English gardens, West Lodge is a 19th-century Victorian house, offering free parking and good breakfasts. West Lodge has en suite rooms with TVs, DVD players and tea/coffee. Good sized beds, lovely breakfast, in a charming room, very quaint. No problems whatsoever, and a good price
