The location was fantastic overlooking the Cathedral. The place had the charm of the area as very old but well maintained. The cellar was amazing. The room had a cracking bath which after weeks motor biking around was well appreciated. The breakfast was the best I’ve had after two weeks in numerous hotels/guest houses.

The whole experience was wonderful. Our hosts were most welcoming and went out of their way to make our stay cosy and comfortable. Elise even helped translate the information in French when our train was cancelled and helped with alternative transport. The room was comfortable and private. When the shower had no hot water they got it fixed immediately and provided an alternative in the meantime. The shower is now wonderful. The room also came with a small fridge which is not mentioned on Booking.com and is most welcome to long term travellers.

The owners are very friendly and work hard to please their guests. The bed was very comfortable, the room was spacious, especially by French standards. Everything was very clean with lots of little details. A breakfast of warm baguette, butter, jam, fruit etc. was delivered to my room. Coffee/tea were available in the room. The patio access to the pool was nice (though it was too cold during my stay to open the pool).
