The location was perfect, easy to walk into the little village for the markets. The breakfast in the morning was great and the girl working there was amazing. Super helpful, friendly and just made our stay really nice. Would definitely go back.

Located in La Couarde-sur-Mer, 500 metres from Plage des Prises, LA MAISON DE LA DUNE - Chambres Climatisées - Jacuzzi 1ère séance offerte - Piscine chauffée avec Abri Amovible - Plage située à 200m,... We had the most wonderful and relaxing stay at Maison de la Dune. Florence and Remy are wonderful, kind and interesting hosts with lots of knowledge about the island, restaurants, beaches, and more. The pool area and terrace was a lovely quiet place to sit and read, and swim in the heated pool. Our room was comfortable and clean and looked out to the meticulously maintained garden. The breakfasts were made with such care and served beautifully making for a gentle and easy start to the day. We found the location ideal because the guest house is so close to the network of bike paths and a long white sand beach. We rented excellent electric bikes from Florence and Remy which allowed us to see a lot of the island during our three day stay. We hope to return for another stay at Maison de la dune in the future and highly recommend it.

The place was cosy and clean, the room was spacious and had everything you need. I totally loved the big window facing the terrace and the dressing table.
