Florence and Remy are wonderful, kind and interesting hosts with lots of knowledge about the island, restaurants, beaches, and more. The pool area and terrace was a lovely quiet place to sit and read, and swim in the heated pool. Our room was comfortable and clean and looked out to the meticulously maintained garden. The breakfasts were made with such care and served beautifully making for a gentle and easy start to the day. We found the location ideal because the guest house is so close to the network of bike paths and a long white sand beach. We rented excellent electric bikes from Florence and Remy which allowed us to see a lot of the island during our three day stay. We hope to return for another stay at Maison de la dune in the future and highly recommend it.
