Offering garden views, Nuba Heart is an accommodation situated in Aswan, 24 km from Kitchener's Island and 25 km from Aswan High Dam. The host was amazingly friendly, even inviting us to his nieces engagement party while we were there and we got to experience some authentic Nubian food! The location is great, much quieter than staying on the east bank but also just a short and very cheap ferry ride over to the hustle and bustle. The room was nice and clean with a bathroom, ceiling fan, heaps of cupboard space, supplied towels and a really comfy bed. Would definitely reccomend!

I was allowed to use the kitchen to cook some veggies. Nice to talk with other guests like in a hostel but with my own room.

Boasting a private beach area and views of lake, La Terrace is a recently renovated guest house situated in Aswan, 23 km from Aga Khan Mausoleum. This beachfront property offers access to a patio. We stayed at La Terrace for one night. We arranged for airport pick-up for USD12 as we were arriving late. The driver dropped us off at the pier, we took the public ferry and the owner, Mohammed met us and helped us with our luggage to the hotel. Travel to the hotel was easy and not too much trouble. There are restaurants near the hotel as well which is quite convenient. Our rooms were clean, tidy and we had 3 large beds which were comfortable enough. Hair dryer was provided on request. There's also a terrace which you can sit at and enjoy the view of the Nile. The hotel met our expectations and is good value. We didn't have much time to explore the area, but we did go to a restaurant (King Jamaica) nearby which the owner recommended. Food was good as well. The real star is the owner. He was very responsive to our questions and helped us arrange for a car and driver to Abu Simbel and Luxor. He also recommended his contacts in Luxor and Cairo who helped us arrange a car, driver and guides for when we needed them. I would highly recommend arranging your travels in Egypt with Mohammed. We would have stayed for a second night if we could!

The location is amazing, on one of the best islands of Aswan. The owner is a very kind person as the employees too. They are very helpful and always make sure that everything is all right. The room was absolutely fantastic, with a stunning Nile view. I didn't do the cruise, and for me, spending these 3 nights here, I felt like I didn't need to. The beds were really comfortable and WiFi was very good. Breakfast was very delicious and filling, perfect for starting the Aswan itineraries. The owner always makes sure that you have breakfast in the morning, my flight was early in the morning, so He made for us a bag full of food which we ate at the airport.

We couldn't have chosen a better place in Aswan. The guest house offers a superb location with stunning views. The cleanliness and serene atmosphere made our stay very relaxing. Ahmed's hospitality was exceptional, he made us feel right at home and even assisted in organizing our trip to Abu Simbel.
