Orietta Residencial is located in the centre of Mindelo, close to the ferry, the beach and restaurants. The rooms are in a nice building, everything well maintained and it has a cosy atmosphere. The owner is super friendly, helpfull and I enjoyed a great breakfast with fresh produce every morning. Even car rental was taken care of. If we knew our experience will be as great, we would definitely book for a longer stay! The village is still so authentic and very safe. We love the warmth, pureness and privacy the JP and his team offer. There is only 3 rooms in the house which allows for the quiet and homy feeling. We were lucky to have the room with the balcony which offers the best possible view. All the furniture and equipment is modern and well taken care of. The water is really warm (not always the case in Cabo Verde). We very much enjoyed the home made breakfasts and dinners. Will miss the very special marmalade, cakes, punch and the chats with the team and the guests we met! We wish you a wonderful stay and hope to be back too!

Offering a terrace and views of the sea, Maderal is set in Mindelo in the Sao Vicente Region. Free private parking is available on site. Some rooms feature a seating area where you can relax. Very clean place with comfortable bed. Location is in a quiet area, about 20 mins walking distance from the ferry and 10 mins to the center. Filomena, the owner, is amazing!! We were only there for one night before our ferry to Santo Antão but when we went back to Sao Vicente she let us leave our luggage there while we explored the city and then let us take a shower!! Highly recommend!

It was a fantastic experience, getting to know Lina and Victor up close, we were welcomed like family. We felt at home. Lina and Victor's friendliness is always available to help, provide information about the island, the best restaurants and places to visit. Victor took us for a walk around the island, he was our guide. Some fantastic people. The couple's children were also very friendly. We will definitely have to go back on vacation
