Comfortable room, attentive staff, excellent breakfasts (two kinds of cheese and bread, fruit and yogurt, bacon and eggs) and plunge pool. City beach about a ten minute walk.

Casa JPi is located on the seafront in São Pedro, 100 metres from Sao Pedro Beach and 12 km from Torre de Belem. Featuring full-day security, this property also has a restaurant and a sun terrace. Everything! We stayed there for only one night, but if we could redo our vacation we would stay there for at least 3 nights. The location is idyllic. You can go snorkeling with the turtles right outside your door. There is an amazing view over the ocean from the shared balcony. JP is the perfect host. He carried our luggage, offered to do our laundry, arranged a taxi for us, etc. His hospitality was never ending! The accommodation was of superb quality, according to European standards. Great shower, good bed, everything was spotlessly clean. Towels and even washcloths are provided.

Situated within 1.6 km of Praia Da Laginha and less than 1 km of Torre de Belem, Casa Bom Dia features rooms with air conditioning and a private bathroom in Mindelo. We had the room on the roof top, with a private part of it in front of the room and acces to the rest of the rooftop. Very cosey and clean place with a magnificent view over Mindelo! The poussada is a little bit up the hill, but still in the city center. The breakfast was the best and we ate together with the other guests on the rooftop. Delicious bread and home made marmelades, fruits and scrumbled eggs etc. Host Sophie is a very kind and helpfull lady. We had a lovely time in Casa bom dia!

Offering a terrace and city view, Casa fréd is set in Mindelo, 1.1 km from Torre de Belem and less than 1 km from Capvertdesign Artesanato. We can recommend Frederic as a very engaged host. The room was very nice and clean, the conditions were very good and the breakfast was tasty and abundant.

Featuring city views and a garden, Casa TIANA features accommodation ideally situated in Mindelo, within a short distance of Praia Da Laginha, Torre de Belem and Capvertdesign Artesanato. There wasn’t breakfast yet but the place is very cute, family home, the room was clean and but and there is a beautiful view. Look forward to coming baxk

Guest House Lina Elisa, a property with a terrace, is situated in Mindelo, 600 metres from Praia Da Laginha, 1.3 km from Torre de Belem, as well as 1.1 km from Capvertdesign Artesanato. It was a fantastic experience, getting to know Lina and Victor up close, we were welcomed like family. We felt at home. Lina and Victor's friendliness is always available to help, provide information about the island, the best restaurants and places to visit. Victor took us for a walk around the island, he was our guide. Some fantastic people. The couple's children were also very friendly. We will definitely have to go back on vacation

Everything was perfectly enjoyable. Got all the help we needed to plan our trip on, booking rooms, transport and got lots of great advice. Very interesting conversations with the charming and quite remarkable owner.

Recanto Verde Cara is located on the seafront in Mindelo, 300 metres from Praia Da Laginha and 2 km from Torre de Belem. The location was fabulous.... Less than 5 minutes walk to the beach.... 10 minutes walk to the ferry terminal and 15mins walk to the city centre passed the beautiful marina. Umberto was a true gentleman, contact with him was outstanding, he sent me his number to WhatsApp, he was generous enough to pick me up from the ferry terminal when I arrived. Showed me around the area. Gave me key tips where to go what to eat etc. Arranged my taxi for a early flight and got me a discount. The property itself was far better than the photos. It's basically a very nice 3 bedroom apartment. However it spilt into 3 rooms. Double with private bathroom, and 2 twin rooms with a shared bathroom. The apartment is secure and on the 2nd floor. A outside locked gate, locked front door then a apartment door, plus a additional lock on your own private room. The apartment has a shared kitchen, you get your own cupboard with a key to get your rooms own dishes, pots and pans to use on the stove top and oven.large living area. Really great balcony with a view of th beach and mountains to watch the sunset. I stayed for 6 nights and if I was to return to mindelo I'd 100% return and stay again. The price was also unbelievable.
