The owner and his family are very friendly and welcoming! João is happy to share information about the island and the life here. It was so good we decided to stay a night extra! The room was big and the private bathroom was very clean. Everyday was an awesome breakfast served!

Casa Praia has a perfect location right at the Atlantic Ocean. We had an attractive room, not large and minimally furnished, but everything we needed was there. All very clean and well maintained. The place has only two guest rooms and a wonderfully sheltered communal outdoor area (and kitchen) with sea views. We were lucky that we were the only guests and therefore had the casa to ourselves for the entire day. Manager Jörg is super friendly and communicates quickly and efficiently. He knows a lot about Tarrafal and the surrounding area. You can also contact him to arrange transport (boat, taxi, etc.). Breakfast was more than sufficient in quantity, although we would have appreciated a little more variety in fruit. And maybe something like yogurt with muesli and/or cornflakes... That said, what do you expect in a place 'at the end of the world', so no complaints. We enjoyed our stay!
