Casa Praia has a perfect location right at the Atlantic Ocean. We had an attractive room, not large and minimally furnished, but everything we needed was there. All very clean and well maintained. The place has only two guest rooms and a wonderfully sheltered communal outdoor area (and kitchen) with sea views. We were lucky that we were the only guests and therefore had the casa to ourselves for the entire day. Manager Jörg is super friendly and communicates quickly and efficiently. He knows a lot about Tarrafal and the surrounding area. You can also contact him to arrange transport (boat, taxi, etc.). Breakfast was more than sufficient in quantity, although we would have appreciated a little more variety in fruit. And maybe something like yogurt with muesli and/or cornflakes... That said, what do you expect in a place 'at the end of the world', so no complaints. We enjoyed our stay!

Cesària Evora Airport is 66 km from the property. Casa BB&Djassi felt like home - with big thanks to the ladies who take amazing care of the house and their guests, Talyna, Djenny and Ana. The rooms are comfortable, the location great and it was just a happy place to be. I’m not the only one who extended my stay while there! Communication was also excellent - with the team accommodating my request for good internet in my room, as well as providing multiple options to work across the house. I’ll definitely be back. The family is super nice and welcoming, they went above and beyond to help us when we had a health problem. Great atmosphere with a concert one night. Absolutely recommend it!!
